Good days ahead! The aphid battle has been won. We have a handful of ladybugs that migrated their way over and are ensuring the last of the aphid insurrection is no more. On a lighter note… Chiltepin Lemon Drops are finally showing their faces, “Orange Jalapeño” seeds that are actually cayenne or similar are throwing pods like crazy, Siriacha’s are big and pretty (albeit a little short and girthy…. But who am I to judge…?) Serrano started coming in bunches, Habaneros are taking their sweet ass time ripening… I am in Dragon Roll Shishito hell (if you need some, let me know…. All 3 of my plants are apparently thriving…) and my Sugar Rush Stripey came back from oblivion to be a beautiful little bush that’s starting to flower and we got our first cute little pod of the season on Bolivian Rainbow. Seeing little pods on the Scorpion and the Blood Ghost. Things are coming along nicely. Turns out… the less you obsess over each discolored leaf or small factor that isn’t perfect (like making your fertilizer mix a little too spicy) ultimately goes away with time and proper watering. The light always comes back after the darkest nights. Keep fighting you pepper nerds. I have faith in you.
