Maple Candied Brussel Sprouts with Bacon are SO GOOD and EASY! Who knew brussel sprouts can be this good! Use good, smokey bacon for the best result 🥓

Serves 2

Brussel Sprouts 12 oz (3/4 lb)
Salt 1/4 tsp
Crushed Red Pepper 1/4 tsp
Olive Oil 1 Tbsp
Bacon 2 slices
Maple Syrup 1/2 Tbsp

Preheat the oven to 400F.

1. Clean the brussel sprouts and trim the ends. Halve the large heads. If the leaves fall off, keep them!

2. Place the brussel sprouts In a baking sheet or iron skillet. Make sure the brussel sprouts are spread out in a single layer. Add salt and crushed red pepper, drizzle olive oil and mix well. Roast in the oven for 15 min.

3. Slice the bacon into 1/2″ pieces. Remove the brussel sprouts from the oven when the time is up. Distribute the bacon pieces and maple syrup evenly over the brussel sprouts and mix well. Return the sheet tray to the oven and roast until golden, about 12-15 minutes. Serve immediately✨
