My Thai chilli is absolutely teeming with pods, but I find it is a bit difficult to get to pods in the middle of the plant.

Should I trim it back some? Not sure if it should be this "bushy"

No! Let her be a bushy, healthy, fruitful beast. Half the fun of harvesting is finding all of the hidden peppers. If anything see if you can tame it with some bean poles or trellises.

I like it! I might prune a few middle branches or stuff not getting light.

In a field I would absolutely prune that to get the peppers out the dirt. But in the pot on the concrete I think it looks great spilling over like that.

Looks healthy to me, I say let it grow! Would be a difference if it was looking like it was having air flow problems.

Yes. All that shit near the ground is invitations for things you don’t want. Including just straight up stepping on them. Ask me how I know that

Is that grown in 5 gallon bucket? How of you fertilize? Where you located?

Wow, what the heck is going on there? Never seen one look like that. That’s awesome.

+1 for no trim in middle. Its healthy and doing what you want

Seems like you’re overwintering this or a couple years old? If keeping this beast around for another year, I’d say hit then.

Also for extras you should dry em out and use them throughout the year either ground down as flakes or whole. I kept a bunch whole and use a couple to toss in chills, roasts etc… mine were pretty spicy
