You can only order this ahead of time via email on their site because they smoke it low and slow then seer it before serving. It is butchered and aged onsite and sourced from a small farmer who grass feeds then corn finishes the cow for marbling. LeRoy took a lot of pride in supporting and sourcing high quality meat from small farmers and it showed in the quality of the meal.

The meal comes with a quick pit tour where you see not only their smoker, but also your steak resting to a perfect medium rare before the seer. It was a cool experience and my fun fact walking away from it was they use a leaf blower as a billow.

I've seen plenty of comments on their sides so I won't go into them too much, but the onion rings and miso glazed carrots were probably my favorite iteration of carrots and onion rings I've ever had.

The steaks are massive, meant to feed 3-5. They cooked them to a perfect medium rare and they offer porterhouse or ribeye. It was actually impressive how consistent the medium rare was through a bone in piece of meat that size. The smoke is just right, permeating just enough of the meat to really set it apart from your backyard steak over coals but not overpowering it. It was well salted and absolutely divine texture and flavor.

I'll lastly add that the people at LeRoy and Lewis were absolutely lovely and made our special meal feel special.
