I allow my self to eat out once per month, typically dinner and a dessert. Do you think I’m overdoing it? I don’t track calories but I estimate I’m eating around 1500k a day outside of this.

I think so, but I also don’t know your body. This meal alone looks to be at least 1.5k cals already. You can easily find the nutrition facts for all these items online and you can decide for yourself.

If you continue to reach your goal whether it’s losing weight or maintaining it with this once a month splurge than yes it is working and not over doing it.
Adversely, if you are finding that you plateau extra long or start to gain weight you might want to rethink the methodology.
I personally found that it helped tremendously with the mental fatigue I felt with the monotonous calorie counting that I did daily and did in fact aid in me losing 30lbs+
Good luck!

Not sure if you’re wanting this but here’s the breakdown:
If this is your only meal for the day, that is good. I wouldn’t recommend doing it more than once a month as in my experience it can lead to binges but each person is different.
So about 1800 calories total just in this meal. Probably an ok thing if it’s rare, but depending on how big of a deficit you are in normal days, this could easily be setting your goals back by days or even weeks.

What’s the question? This meal is about 1600 calories if that helps.

Idk.. r the chicken nuggets grilled or breaded? That crumbl cookie could have A TON of cals as well..
Just particular bc ur not tracking cals outside of this. This meal could easily stall ur progress

No, a once a month treat that is not even a huge meal (yes, it’s a lot of calories, but like imo 8 chicken nuggets is barely a splurge haha) is not at all overdoing it. You’re fine.

I mean it’s once a month. YOLO! Live your best life!
If you were worried about it.. Going forward I’d do 4 piece nuggets, small fries, small drink & if you can share the pie share the pie. Or eat half and then have the other half the next day.
& if it were me I’d have it twice a month. This way you won’t feel like you’re missing out too much & not overdoing it crazy when you have a cheat.
Also if you’re gonna eat out only once a month why not elevate it beyond Chick-fil-A? Just saying go big!

I think a lot of commenters are missing that this meal out is a once a month thing….So, no OP, you are not overdoing it by eating Chikfila and Crumble cookies once a month. You wouldn’t even be overdoing this if you did this twice a month. Enjoy your cheat meal.
