My reaper made a full recovery from a long winter and she seems to be flourishing now with all of its foliage back. It's about chest height now and thats after some pruning. I've been plucking bulbs off every other day to let it continue to focus on growth. I figured one more month would be best, but I'm wondering, is it mature enough to just let them bloom at this point?

I've been keeping a strict but slow fertilizer schedule to ease it back in until I give it heavier doses again. Should I wait until its getting more of a regular and heavier dose of fertilizer (fox farms trio)?

That plant looks great. Keep the buds and get a bunch of peppers from it.

Edit: You might want to get some support in there… but let it eat. I’m sitting here in 5b and am jealous of your plant size.

    Let it ride

If anything remove some of those single big leaves that form under the peppers. Usually the ones middle of plant. Will help with airflow etc

    Also pretty plant

That plant is really nice. Let it bloom and produce.

I’ve had pepper plants less than half this size give me more peppers than i could find things to do with. You could probably open a pepper stand with this plant.

You should have been letting it produce. I am already picking peppers off my overwintered plants

Should have let it bloom a long time ago I’d say

That is a very healthy and fairly large plant, absolutely send it. You likely could have weeks ago; some people don’t pick anything off.

Unless your going for a bigger pot, you probably aren’t getting too much bigger so let it produce the flowers

That’s plenty large for me. I’d have start letting the fruits set a while ago! I’m also I’m zone 5a, so I have a shorter growing season.

Dude wtf. It was mature enough when it grew leaves. What are you trying to grow, a damn tree???

Thanks for all the advice folks! Guess I’ll be letting the peppers fly. I’ll post updates eventually
