here’s five unique ways to prepare beets first we need some beets which are pretty simple to grow get yourself some seeds plant a few rows directly in the ground and in just 5 to 7 weeks you’ll have a nice patch of beets ready to harvest I’ll wash off the roots then bring them inside and remove the stems which are fully edible and packed with nutrition so I generally just juice these or if I’m lazy I’ll feed them to the chickens I’ll grab some eggs from those chickens hard boil them and add them to a jar with some fresh sliced beets top them with pickling liquid and let them sit in the fridge for a few days for some beet pickled eggs I’m going to roast the rest of the beets by making a little pouch with tin foil I’ll add a little bit of oil and some water and roast them in my air fryer for 25 to 30 minutes and once perfectly roasted the skin should peel off super easily I can chop up these beets along with some orange feta toasted walnuts Red Onion some herbs and a simple vinegret for a delicious beet salad I can also sauté some onions and garlic add those roasted beets some brown sugar vinegar and some spices then blend this up for a delicious ketchup that Rivals this stuff trust me

  1. Love your videos, all very healthy. but it's no good to use tin foil to cook with- I did a bunch of research after my grandmother died of alzheimers– and alzheimers patients were found with more aluminum in their brains than people without alzheimers. I dont use it for ANYTHING now.

  2. I once went to a high end French restaurant and they had a roasted beet and cream dish that was amazing and honestly I can't remember what it was called or what went into making it.

  3. I love sautéing the beet tops/greens in butter and garlic until just barely cooked (leaves wilted but stalk still a bit firm) and then Splashing a tiny bit of dark soy sauce and hotsauce on them right before eating. It tastes like a mix between spinach and bok choi

  9. Omg I love beetroot! (Aussie, we say beetroot). Here for a burger to be an Aussie burger it must have beetroot slices on it. I love roasted beetroot dip just made with beets, cumin, sumac and a dollop of yoghurt. And a salad of grated raw beetroot, black rice, purple cabbage, feta and walnuts.

  10. If you have a farmer's market near you, go there and see if they have any of the other fun colored beets! I love the pink and yellow striped beets and they taste great!😆🤩

  11. Pleease don't cook with aluminum foil…it is a neurotoxin, especially when heated. It accumulates in the brain and nervous system provoking neurodegenerative diseases susch as Alzheimers, Dementia, Parkinson, ALS.. .😮😮😮
