from family reunions to heartbreaking eliminations here’s a look at the top 30 most emotional moments for Master Chef and this Mystery Box challenge set the stage for one of the most emotional episodes ever air I didn’t need to walk up there and have them taste that dish to know that it was bad and first up on today’s list is what happened with this contestant right here if you ask me episode 9 of season 5 was one of the most dramatic episodes of the season I mean the challenges were crazy and the pressure it was through the roof and believe me the Mystery Box challenge they were up against was no walk in the park we want one composed Master shfw worthy salmon dish using one of these salmon now you may think what’s so hard about salmon but wait turns out there was way more to the challenge there is one fish left it’s for us I’m going to fillet it Gram’s going to cook it I’m going to eat it the challenge proved to be as high stakes as ever as the chefs were entrusted with the daunting task of replicating Chef Ramsey’s precise fish filling technique and yeah everyone was feeling the pressure I’ve never filleted a fish before however right in the midst of this Mayhem one contestant bore the brunt of it and it wasn’t long before Elise dropped a bombshell that reverberated through the competition medic what’s the matter I need a medic done chair please water please medic chair please yep she screamed out that she needed a medic as soon as possible but that was just the beginning the tension peaked as Elise began to faint leaving everyone in the kitchen equal parts shocked and concerned pressure is so intense I think that Alise is just not able to keep up saying Elise was feeling it would be a huge understatement she had to take a moment to collect herself or things were going to get much worse I take some here there you just stay nice and calm just then the Medics rushed in to do their thing starting with handing her a water bottle but the question remained would she still Soldier on or throw in the towel that night leas faced a critical decision she could either stay in the kitchen or bow out so what do you think she decided sadly Elise has left the master chef kitchen oh yeah nobody expected a strong Contender like Elise to exit the master chef kitchen like this but don’t worry because Elise turned out to be way stronger than anyone thought she was I’m okay Chef are you sure yes for sure literally only a few moments later she returned back to the kitchen held her head high and demed ated resilience like never before however of course Chef Ramsey could see through her smile he offered her an out telling her that she really didn’t have to cook yet Elise opted to face the challenge thrown her way head on do I want to come back I’ll at least get something on the plate that’s how we go how inspiring man I mean it’s really not every day that you get to see contestants who refuse to give up like this just completely folded under the pressure today I had to take a few minutes to get my feet back on the ground even her fellow contestant were in awe of how deep she was able to dig she came back definitely take my head off to you girl but sadly things didn’t exactly work out in her favor in the elimination round she ended up presenting a less than Stellar dish roasted mushroom and steamed artichoke ravioli red wine reduction tomato sauce and the famous Jeff was not one bit impressed I just don’t know how you can present a dish that’s so BL it’s a failure I understand if going through this rough challenge wasn’t already enough what chef said next peers right through her confidence have you given up no I’m trying not to give up no I don’t think I’ve given up everything was on the line it just tastes like it Elise found herself in tears once again as the judges faced a tough decision and unfortunately what Elise presented just wasn’t going to cut it moving forward Elise your time is done in the mouse chef kitchen in an unexpected twist Chef Ramsey showed a rare moment of empathy as he Bid Farewell to while recognizing her baking prowess in the same breath and surprisingly her untimely departure left viewers grappling with a whirlwind of mixed emotions but turns out Elise wasn’t the only one to set an intense tone on the show because this next contestant definitely gave her a run for money as far as drama is concerned You’ve Gone Bananas You’ve Gone Bananas I’m talking about none other than this contestant from season 3 and this dude’s presence in episode 4 practically dragged the entire show down into the depths of Hell’s Kitchen now you might remember Ryan uman the guy with the smug attitude that could rival Chef Ramsey stare during the duck Mystery Box challenge Chef Ramsey called down the top three contestants whose dishes stood out the most when Ryan’s name was called out his hopes start to fly high believing that he had it in the bag this time I’m really not surprised that my plate is one of the top dishes these other cooks are going to have to step up their game if they’re going to want to compete with me yeah humility was pretty much alien to this guy I mean he had the audacity to tell him self that he wasn’t surprised to be in the top three little did he know what the top three actually was you managed to cook what we think are the worst I’m really not surprised well maybe it’s better to just wait for the final decision before completely popping off huh talk about a premature celebration anyway when the actual announcement was made the smug grin on Ryan’s face was gone in two seconds flat but let’s see what he presented that got him into this mess in the first place Ryan had walked up with about alamic rum glazed duck breast with caramelized bananas and sweet potato puree oh yeah now doesn’t that sound fancy but taste is really the only thing that matters at the end of the day you proud of this and we all know how Joe gets when nasty food is put in front of him so he asked Ryan if he was proud of his creation but that was just the beginning rendered to the point of being dry yeah you may have some crisp on the skin but bananas I mean it’s like is this a joke oh yeah Joe went all in and made a huge think about how that crispy skin wasn’t going to save the duck from the overcooked mess that it really was now to be honest I’d actually feel bad for the person receiving criticism but hey it’s Ryan we’re talking about and this dude desperately needed a reality check before he went off to deep atend the cook on the banana is better than the cook on the duck and then came Chef Ramsey and if there’s one thing that we know about him is that he doesn’t shy away from setting someone straight especially contestants where as cocky as Ryan which is why Ramsey and Leash a classic verbal Beatdown straight out of his Hell’s Kitchen Playbook bananas with duck You’ve Gone Bananas that’s what’s happened You’ve Gone Bananas uhhuh clearly Ryan wasn’t the genius that he thought he was and he earned a good earful to set the record straight you have managed to cook the duck everything else around that Dreadful now when it was time for the elimination Scott managed to skip the chopping block by getting a lifeline and so the decision was now between two contestants but that’s when Ryan decid to pull some strengths I just wanted to say that I’m not definitely not ready to go home yet and you were right the hero of this dish was the duck oh man I’d pay a million dollar if I had anywhere near that much money that is for him to shut up like this is just embarrassing Ryan did his damnest to save himself claiming that he wasn’t ready to go home what’s more he actually said the duck was the real hero of the dish but I mean Chef Ramsey took another look at how overcooked it was and no beging you’re in this competition competing not judging Jing let’s get that right despite that Against All Odds Ryan survived to cook another day Samantha please take your apron off and place it on your station you’re leaving the competition the fact that he survived elimination even after presenting a disaster of a dish and on top of a here to cook but he was here to to conquer black vinegar and ovaline Infused chocolate cake with moed Mone cream if you thought that was the end of that massive description of his you’re so wrong caramelized white chocolate and burnt miso ganache togarashi Walnut crumble chocolate twigs and edible flowers I mean Wow way to pains a word picture dude Fred had prepared a black vinegar infused chocolate cake with a mouthwatering array of toppings but it wasn’t just about the ingredients it’s about the passion he important to each element and trust me his mom’s influence was evident in his determination to make her proud as the judges eyed his peculiar creation Chef Ramsey and Aaron exchange amusing glances but hold it right there because Fred was about to blow their minds and before you know it the Moment of Truth arrived and Fred’s Masterpiece was unveiled visually absolutely stunning thank you the chocolate Twigs edible flowers and the artistic mean Dearing of mascaron cream immediately caught the judge’s attention and yeah the tension was definitely building as they took their first bites so light this is like serious thank you well that was just the beginning of the praise Fred was in for Aaron commended its decadence ooey gooey decadence as for Joe you have to see his reaction for yourselves but it’s also so smart because it’s all those things but it’s not but it really wasn’t the reaction that was the highlight of the episode just you wait till you see what Chef Ramsey had to say gentleman insane it’s gone the famous chef left every every one shocked when he kept going back for more scraping the plate with his fork and then did this and I think that says it all right there Gordon likes it yep he literally licked it clean I mean that’s a golden moment right there it’s not every day that Jeff Ramsey even bothers finishing a dish even if it’s outstanding the drama reached its peak as Chef Ramsey without waiting for any verbal judgments did something totally well unexpected there’s no debate that’s a yes take dead yep he tossed an apron at Fred laughing in pure delight he even declared Fred as his new culinary hero but that’s not the end of it Chef Ramsey then in a move that could only be described as absolutely insane left the audience in pure shock he took the plate back to his seat and you won’t believe what he did next it’s stop provoking look at that yep he smashed it on the floor a mic drop that echoed through the master chef kitchen the other judges were left and a and Fred well he was the guy who turned a cooking competition into a plate licking mic dropping spectacle while moments like these are seldom seen on Master Chef let’s admit that when it comes to genuine drama especially the spicy kind there’s no shortage like take for instance what happened in season 8 episode 18 where Jeff faced the heat like never before this time Jeff was the sixth contestant in the hot seat now normally contestants control their own time in the elimination round but not today Kate having won the Mystery Box challenge held the power to assign time limits turning up the pressure on Jeff he got barely 15 minutes to cook I’ve got no idea how he’s going to pull this off so what does he whip up in those 15 minutes that he was left with well check this out so all we have here is a salmon fla with a Mediterranean vibe to it there a little bit of the feta cheese and sundri tomato relish over a nice apple and pear cuc cumber Gratton cranberry and stout bear huh that’s an ambitious mouthful right well not really Jeff that’s exactly what I want Jeff Ramsey questioned Jeff about how well cooked his Simon was supposed to be now Jeff had aim for medium rare but if Chef Ramsey is asking you what the cook of a piece of meat is supposed to be with that kind of expression yeah you better believe you drop something completely raw in front of him he went on to make a crazy comparison too is weird it’s like sushi though the fibers haven’t even gone look damn but Jeff wasn’t ready to back down either snarky as ever he defended his rare salmon the best that he could but that’s what I was going for I wanted it to be on the rarer side I really don’t know who he was trying to convince cuz as you know he barely had 15 minutes to prepare the dish there’s absolutely no way that he could have actually cook the salmon all the way through in that time so his only option was rare however he really wasn’t budging from his lie are you saying you wanted it that rare yes Chef Ramsey knows every single trick in the book as far as lying is concerned and what was his response Stout and cranberries and gratten a cucumber and raw salmon with fet cheese don’t go period oh yeah he left no stone unturned to slam Jeff’s dish honestly the combination of raw salmon cucumber apple grattin and feta cheese just wasn’t hitting but wait things were about to get juicier Ander Dino and this guy decided to have a little bit B of fun were we allowed to make sushi no you couldn’t be wrong but why you serve it Rock he playfully asked Jeff about making sushi and questioned why he served raw salmon Jeff told Dino to go make spaghetti and meatballs instead wow super original insult for the Italian in the room buddy and well that is how the Clash of Titans began go make a spaghetti meatball go make a what go make another spaghetti meatball and what do you know Dino fired back real quick we making a spaghetti meat buff for your lady tonight oh yeah no nobody gets one over Dino it almost seemed like he was poking fun at him just to make him feel bad and I guess he succeeded cuz Jeff’s reply was [Music] brutal and as time passed and more words were exchanged the fight only seemed to get worse should they make the $250,000 out to your therapist or to you damn Jeff may not know how to cook a decent dish but he sure knows how to fire back at someone but again nobody gets one over Dino I’m already insured okay I just want to make sure that that’s covered my therapist is already paid for the atmosphere grew tense and the fight escalated to the point that the judges needed to intervene and finally it was time for the verdict Chef Ramsey unimpressed by Jeff’s dish and his defensive attitude dropped the bong Yesa just wait because just when Jeff thought he was bidding farewell to Y chicha jef Ramsey decided to drop in another bomb and Jeff if you ever want to know what brittle means in practice just re-watch this clip but I don’t think you’re ever going to be able to forget it nobody expected a double elimination as for Jeff when Chef Ramsey asked him about how he felt about the turn of events he admitted that he felt humbled thanked his competitors and bid farewell to the master chef kitchen what a damn journey man but when it comes to Master Chef the heat isn’t just limited to the kitchen I’m talking about the most jaw-dropping and heart pounding moments from episode 3 of season 3 where one contestant took the spot Spotlight during the auditions so Stacy was the first Contender of the day and she walked in with all the confidence in the world armed with her dish hello hello I’m Stacy and what was she bringing to the table you ask well here you go so where did the inspiration for cooking come from so there she was rocking the Master Chef scene with a New York strip that had an espresso crust and a chimy CH sauce that she hope would be a showstopper to end all showstoppers well not going to lie from the looks of it it looked downright delicious I’m talking about the kind of plate that makes you question your loyalty to your go-to takeout joint and get this where she was from fast food was pretty much all that was available in any case to pull off a masterpiece that not only tasted Divine but also look like a foodie’s dream now that was some Next Level kitchen sorcery right there but hey it’s not always about the looks now is it because once the judges dug into the dish they weren’t too impressed you know lot going on on that plate it’s just CH vegetables and a steak while Chef Ramsey had at least a few words to share with the contestant the same can’t be said about Joe it was clear out of all the judges he hated the dish the most now there are two versions of Joe you can come across when you send bad food up to the podium one that completely humiliates you to the point that you start questioning your own selfworth or the one that just walks away giving you that deadly glare and that’s what happened in this case however Chef Ramsey had way more to share you know the vegetables stand out yet that’s not the hero the hero for me should be the New York strip the famous chef took issue with the veggies overshadowing the star of the show the steak ouch this misstep spelled a rough start for our girl and when it came to giving a yes or a no Chef Ramsey rooted for the latter for me it’s but Graham decided to give her a chance seeing the potential that she had now the final decision whether she was in the game or not Ed upon Joe the man with the power to make dreams come true or shatter them to pieces and what did he go with no Stacy faced a really tough moment when Joe gave her a solid no but wait plot twist just when you thought it was Game Over Joe had a change of heart that no one saw coming picture this Stacy’s heart sinking as she walked away disappointment etched across her face but hold on Graham wasn’t having it I think that’s a bad call he argued that it was a a bad call emphasizing the seasoning and acidity in her dish the tension thickened as Joe announced something that doesn’t really happen every day for the first time ever I retaste it I’m changing my mind yeah for the first time ever he decided to give Stacy another shot the man himself retried her dish deep in thought and then in a surprising twist he sprinted to the waiting area with an apron in hand imagine the emotions running high as Stacy received that Lifeline crushed at first she seized the opportunity for Redemption they allowed me another chance I am America’s Next Master Chef the judges granted her another chance and with Newfound determination Stacy declared herself the next Master Chef but you won’t believe what happened when this next contestant presented their dish to the judges and guess what this contestant right here had it all yes I’m talking about Sue a food blogger from Houston who was featured in season 11 but here’s the thing Sue wasn’t just a regular blogger she was a passionate food lover with roots in Burma a place where every meal tells a story of resilience and gratitude just like home with a lot more cheering people so when it was time to present her signature dish she decided to present a tantalizing Burmese noodle soup with shrimp and coconut curry as a tribute to her Homeland when Chef Sanchez and Joe walked into check over her station Joe was already all in for Sue’s dish that looks amazing well I think we’ve already got ourselves our winner and no it didn’t stop and started the dish it was the passion for a country that won our hearts I come from a third world country we have to eat so that we can survive so we are already grateful to have a bowl of rice every day where it came from Sue was brinning with DET termination to bring some of the most exotic dishes to Master Chef and the judges were soon to see that shall we taste as the judges dug into Sue’s Creation the room filled with anticipation I have a thing that I say not to too many people which is food of love and well there was more appreciation Yet to Come her way and this here Sue yes chef is food of Love well done thank you thank you very much Chef I’m very humble that must have been one of the biggest compliments anyone who calls himself a chef can receive even Sanchez couldn’t help but praise her creation that is truly something special it means a lot to me Chef now when it came to Joe one thing was clear he was already sold I made that much Clear earlier but when he actually started talking there was no room for doubt a profound immersion into bur’s Cuisine thank you very much Joe this dish undoubtedly stood out as a true Masterpiece transcending cultural boundaries with its exceptional taste and execution as for Chef Ramsey well he was just plain wholesome it’s the best dish I’ve tasted all night as the praise poured in Sue found herself standing there totally blown away her eyes sparkling with joy and gratitude suddenly it hit her her cooking wasn’t just about about making good food well it was about touching people’s hearts and taste buds alike and man did you leave an impression so when it came to handing out that apron there was no doubt in anyone’s mind that it belonged to sue congratulations come out Place lady thank you very much but hold on turns out Joe and the judges were itching for her to leave but maybe not for the reason you instinctively expect and go away so we can finish eating the rest of if someone were to dismiss me for such a trivial reason I’d be absolutely thrilled it was quite evident that Joe was thoroughly enjoying himself which came as a complete shock considering his usual well everything attitude taste you name it Sue’s Mastery of one exceptional dish was enough to solidify her standing in the competition but hey she wasn’t the only one that managed to impress the unimpressive Joe because this contestant from season 13 left him speechless I’m porv from east vsor New Jersey my specialty is American and Indian Fusion cooking I’m talking about pervy a culinary Enthusiast known for infusing Indian flavors into her dishs in episode one she was all set to bring her aame in hopes of snatching an apron Indian Community in New Jersey is really really big I feel so proud to represent them I’m making Bunch cakes with Indian flavors the pressure on her shoulders was something else man I mean not only did she have to impress the judges to make it on to Master Chef but she also had the weight of everyone from India count hting on her success talk about a heavy load and then her dessert the vanilla bun cakes with all the amazing Indian spices mixed in could it be the golden ticket that could lead her to success in the competition I’ve been doing this for last 21 years I can do this in my sleep all right so when it came to the judge’s verdict they were totally hooked in from the start seriously intrigued by what she had whipped up wow I love it it reminds me of like an Indian festival wedding when there’s just color there’s Vibrance everywhere it looks H I’m TI to get in there when a dish looks as beautiful and vibrant as hers I’d expect nothing less I mean if it were me I’d never dig in because just look at that I’d honestly feel so bad ruining such a work of art and the judges thought so too I Mo it Joe who usually takes his sweet time to give a verdict was the first one to take a crack at describing what was in front of him you’re really good I just got back from India the most incredible flavors gives me new appreciation of tasting your dish you know what that dish was seriously off the charts like mind-blowingly good he was so absolutely floored by how delicious it was that he didn’t even bother waiting for the rest of the gang to chime in with their thoughts before throwing his boat into the ring it was like he couldn’t contain his excitement and just had to let everyone know how awesome it was right then and there it’s a yes for me I really liked it thank you so much it means a lot now I don’t know how often you’ve seen him make a vote like that but for me it’s a rare it for sure as for the other judges they obviously shared the same excitement that Joe did this fight it is so moist and fluffy like it has levity and balance thank thank you so much pervy couldn’t contain her Joy when she saw how the judges thoroughly enjoyed her dish she was overwhelmed by the impact her creation had made watching the judges savoring every bite felt like a Victorious moment one that she would remember for a long long time and let’s be real this vote was probably the easiest decision ever made in the history of Master Chef like no contest right but Sanchez you know he totally tried to spice things up right in the middle of everything like seriously talk about drama I’m not going to say yes just yet okay so I have to think about this for a little bit however let’s be real here it was pretty obvious he was just trying to grab some attention yet again I mean come on a little while later he caved in and gave up classic move am I right right all right all right all right for me it’s absolute yes yeah he couldn’t wait any longer as for Chef Ramsey well he decided to Dive Right In at the first given opportunity it’s a ReSound a yes thank you so much that’s four yeses congratulations congratulations thank you in the end with a resounding yes from each judge ky’s dish became the highlight of the night but it was Joe’s unexpected response that steals the show now you have to agree this dish set a standard especially in Joe’s eyes and this next next contestant came in close competition in the high stakes kitchen of Master Chef one single misstep can lead to a disaster but sometimes amidst all the pressure contestants manage to leave even the most season judges stuned just like this time when Kenny a 46 year-old Boston native blew the judges Minds I’ve always wanted to give people the great food that I give my family this is my opportunity to do that you see Kenny may be from Boston but his roots now that was something both him and Joe had in common I had great grandparents that came from Naples and Sicily so I had influences from all the regions of Italy but let’s see if that actually works in his favor cuz you know it may only serve to give Joe an excuse to judge him even harder so what happened is when Sanchez and Joe walked into to check in on him Joe was quick to notice this odd connection what’s your name my name’s Kenny palazolo no doubt that you’re from Boston I am definitely from Little Italy in the a to Boston I mean given the circumstances his reaction was pretty normal the connection to someone from the the same country as you in a foreign land is just something else as for the dish it wouldn’t take a genius to guess what Kenny Was preparing a New York strip boli salt and bua stuff with p and cheese well isn’t it just so fitting that Kenny went with an Italian plastic like New York strip bracho I mean he was all for embracing his roots paying homage to his family’s culinary Legacy but get this it wasn’t just about the dish itself nah it was something totally different that really showcased his Heritage in a whole new left what what are you say what kind of Italian do you speak speak North and Italian man let me tell you I saw it from a mile away that Joe would jump on the accent bandwagon and guess what when the Moment of Truth arrived and everyone was presenting their dishes Kenny not only managed to win Joe over with his cooking skills but also captured his heart in the process it was like a double win for Kenny leaving Joe absolutely Smitt it I brought you a New York strip boltini salt Uka on a bed of vegetable Reser photo no doubt the judges were blown away by just the plating of his dish look at that presentation you’ve got it going on there my man I did my best it looked visually stunning but would it deliver on Flavor now this is where Joe really started to worry he couldn’t help but wonder if Kenny’s dishh would really live up to the hype the brazal not student tomato sauce it’s basically a grilled stuffed steak so this is an interpretation of what would be classic Italian the dish was an interpretation of classic Italian cuisine and I don’t have to tell you how important this was for Joe as the judges took their first bite anticipation hung in the air and then it was time for the verdict that’s wonderful you defied the odds because I’m amazed you got that texture from a New York strip the judges were all here for the dish and Kenny well let’s just say his grin could light up the whole kitchen but the judges realized that there was a tiny tiny flaw it does need homework on that risoto I needed another 2 minutes the risotto may have needed a little bit more time but it seems like Joe didn’t care cuz if you replay the clip you’ll see how he was itching to go in for another bite the dish was a hit in his books anyway despite the minor flaw the judges saw the potential Kenny had I can taste the passion that’s evident um for me is an absolute yes Kenny was able to create a dish that was near perfect within that given time frame and this was proof of his impeccable skills it’s really impressive 100% yes for an apron for you as for Joe he was willing to turn a blind eye to the minor flaw because well he was already impressed beyond measure and maybe just a little biased maybe it’s far from traditional but it’s well executed you see the dish may not have been as traditional as he expected it to be but he couldn’t help but shower with compliments and I think it’s a really good interpretation of your personality into a tradition of Italian food honestly it was a pretty easy win for Kenny Ben [Music] master and believe me he was more than grateful for having received the apron specifically because it was handed down by Joe Joe Bion to hear him say that he believed in me and handed me that apron such a surreal moment in my life I’ll never forget it well this one dish propelled Kenny to being one of the top contestants on the show but that’s a story for another time so let’s move on if you ask me I think season 12 of Master Chef was in a whole different league with contestants from the previous Seasons coming together to fight for the win once again and in this battle if if there’s one guy who stole the spotlight with minimum effort it definitely has to be Michael it takes hours or days to make the bra all right so here’s the deal for this episode’s challenge the contestants had teamed up with GrubHub to upgrade some of the most popular delivery items in the country the one who nailed the challenge gets a sweet immunity pin and a spot in the top 10 with Shena and Bowen so each contestant got to pick a random takeout bag with a dish they had to work with and what did Michael get Ramen oh Ramen oh yeah the guy definitely had his work cut out for him but that’s not all to make the task a bit more challenging the judges decided to drop another bomb you will have 45 minutes to cook us an upscale Gourmet version of your chosen takeout dish with the stakes so high you can imagine the kind of pressure each contestant must have been going through but was Michael up for the challenge well you be the judge here’s a look at what he decided to make it is very hard to make ramen takes hours or days to make the broth trying to figure out how I’m going to elevate it and like put my Twist on it sounds interesting enough right but Michael had a good reason for picking this dish turns out he had lived in Korea for a while and so their Cuisine was far from foreign to him but guess what this little life experience would eventually play to his Advantage as Michael confidently placed his dish in front of the judges anticipation filled the air but they were going to have to taste it sooner or later and that’s exactly what they did Joe took a cautious sip of the broth and he was hit with an unexpected wave of heat his reaction was priceless a little bit spicy wow maybe Michael should have dropped a spice warning or something cuz Joe definitely wasn’t expecting that it was clear that he wasn’t exactly comfortable with all those Scoville and the camera Ops were doing some serious work capturing his reaction right there Joe struggled to find the right words to describe but he had just ingest it whether because he genuinely couldn’t think of something right away or because the spice was preventing him from even putting a sentence together but just as the tension reached its peak the judges finally zeroed in on two dishes that stood out from the rest [Music] Michael so was the Bold Flavor a risk worth taking let’s find out now regardless of the initial shock that Joe had received he was actually pretty impressed with the dish once his taste buds at recover everything looks super elevated H as for the other judges they chimed in with more appreciation the presentation is clever you’re using the crispy little rice noodles as a textural component looking forward to trying it and since one judge had already experienced the heat before anyone else dug in Michael decided to warn them of course I like By Ramen spicing yeah no kidding but let’s see if Chef Ramsey would be able to take the Heat Dish is delicious love the take on that Korean implants especially with the heat hey I’ll give that a passing grade as for Sanchez he straight up said that the dish was awardwinning and a little bit of spice was never going to phase him if that wasn’t enough Joe had more to share I like the intensity of it I don’t know if you could eat a whole bowl of it but all the components in the dish make sense very strong well sometimes taking risks can lead to Greatness and things luckily worked out in Michael’s favor this time well these contestants managed to leave Joe shocked with their delectable dishes but there was this one contestant who left Joe dumbfounded for all the wrong reasons but here’s the real question are we going to see another signature Joe dish thrashing go ahead and drop your guesses in the comment section down below but for now in season 3 episode 8 the tension was palpable as the contestants faced the day’s dreaded Elimination Challenge the challenge revolved around the judges favorite desserts and Felix sadly landed with the herculian task of pleasing Joe my favorite dessert tiami as the clock ticked down the pressure mounted as Felix struggled to prepare a dish worthy of the judge’s praise when Joe decided to come check on her he wasn’t too happy about how things were going were you not going to put it in a form how you going to make it on a plate kind of more free form wow that’s risky things weren’t off to a great start regardless of Joe’s concern Felix was feeling confident anyone can go home today and you’re in a competitive group I’m not going home today well we’ll see about that anyway with time running out Felix was the first person to present her terisu to the judges but even before she laid the dish before them Joe happened to notice her expression let’s begin with tiramisu Felix that was brutal I mean he sure didn’t have any High Hopes when it came to this particular dish he was beyond disappointed you saw the standard we put it up there we asked you to execute it and you come back with this it’s so disappointing and if that wasn’t enough he then dropped another brutal comment if it’s bad you will go home hell yeah there is no place for people who don’t meet the standards on Master Chef that’s the one rule the judges have set either you follow or go home and believe me things weren’t exactly looking up for Felix but when Joe took a bite of her dish he couldn’t help but ask her one simple question one put nuts in here I like mac nuts macadamia nuts and an Italian tiam suo I mean how could she not know that but just as Graham decided to taste the dish Felix was already tearing up I’m sorry I have to eat this it’s not even eating it it’s it’s looking at it like to see her come up with something like this was totally out of character and his reaction was quite expected he deemed the dish terrible and when it came to Chef Ramsey he didn’t hold back either way too sweet macadamian nuts nothing looks that’s sad as you do because it is a mess well it just looks like it wasn’t her day the tiu if you can even call it that was just a sad little puddle of mush and well according to the famous chef this was Felix’s worst performance on the show if Chef Ramsey dropping that dire warning was any indication Felix found himself in the bottom three fortunately for him Scott was the one who was sent home instead talk about dodging a bullet woo just Scott and get back to your station [Music] it however you know what’s even crazier when a Michelin star quality dish hits the table and for one particular contestant standing in her midst was a dream come true she is the queen of Italian cooking obviously I’m Italian I got red sauce running through my veins well Autumn made it her top priority to impress her Above All Else adding to the already intense pressure the challenge was to make a very important staple of Italian cuisine drum roll please fresh past yeah it couldn’t have been anything but fresh pasta now if you’ve been watching my videos for a while you might know that making pasta from scratch isn’t an easy task as you might think although pasta is a blank canvas that can take up any flavor or seasoning imaginable Chef Ramsey made it a point to remind the contestants of something really crucial if you’re not careful making fresh pasta trust me that can sabotage your entire dish in other words it all comes down to how you prepare the pasta and thankfully Joe and Chef Nancy stepped up to show the home Cooks exactly how it’s done we’re going to make or from the region of Pula so we use four yolks two whole eggs and Chef Nancy was very precise something that absolutely blew the home Cook’s Minds away down and let it roll like that and you want to invert it meanwhile Joe couldn’t help but add a dash of humor the old lady with the big apron on calling me the old lady with the notory careful careful anyway Jokes Aside Joe joined Nancy to prep the sauce as Autumn soaked up every step without missing a single beat I’m going to slowly sauté them with the garlic a little bit of salt and chies you see Italian cuisine is all about Simplicity and all it took was just three ingredients to whip up a restaurant worthy classic Italian pasta a Master Chef Legend and her hble assistant make a pole of orim thank you with that little demonstration out of the way it was now time for the home Cooks to get cooking and whip up their own killer pasta dish and guess what whoever won the challenge would receive a Next Level prize get an exclusive VIP dinner for two at oia MOA here in Los Angeles yeah if that was an incentive enough then I don’t know it is anyway soon enough the 60-minute challenge had kicked off and all the contestants rushed to get things started as for Autumn this is what she had in mind I’m doing a beat in ricotta toini but that wasn’t all she decided to go the extra mile and add a little twist to her dish while she was at it I did two passes and I’m going to try to do them stripes for the talini given her Italian background her desire to experiment with pasta wasn’t exactly a surprise for Chef Ramsey but would she be able to wrap up in time and here’s the thing she came from a family with a long-standing tradition of making pasta and if she messed up today she wouldn’t be able to face anybody back home the pressure was real but Autumn was determined to see it through halfway through the cooking and Autumn’s dish had already managed to grab the judge’s attention she’s doing a beetroot flavored pasta with a normal pasta that’s cool when judgment came call it was now time to see who cooked up the ultimate P the dish the judges meandered around the kitchen eyeing each plate and giving a taste of the sauces and once they reached Autumn station Chef Nancy was quite surprised that is a stunning dish hope it tastes as good as it looks oh things were definitely looking up for her even from a plating perspective she was running away with the competition but as you all may know it all comes down to taste at the end of the day so was she able to deliver as it turns out Autumn comfortably made it into the today’s top three dishes my n would be really proud this is her recipe and I did this all for her and believe me it was a hell of a showstopper lemon ricotta and beet walini white wine and leak sauce and some PE tendrils gee I’m suddenly hungry now Chef Ramsey had plenty of praise for her though and this dish screams attitude and passion it was truly one of Autumn’s best creations yet but as you know above all Autumn wanted to impress her role model Chef Nancy let’s see what she had to say about the dish one of the most difficult stuff pasta shapes really well balanced huh the fact that she aced one of the trickiest pasta shapes and even put her own spin on it really showed off her skill and passion and then there was Joe the King of netpix but this time he couldn’t find a single thing to complain about the sauce is just the right reduction of intensity structure of the Tor or perfect as for Aaron I just love how refined it is and its flavors you know suddenly Autumn was surrounded by a wave of compliments and she couldn’t have been happier I mean imagine hearing something like this from someone you’ve looked up to for your entire life I wouldn’t get rid of anything on the plate it’s perfect thank you so much but it was Chef Ramsay’s comments that put a nice little bow on everything I’d be happy to serve that in my Resturant this evening it’s that good well done Autumn swept the wind that day no contest however despite having the best dish in the challenge something tragic happened with this next contestant after losing the one Farmers challenge Andrea found herself facing off the remaining contestants in a challenge which was a classic in All American sense contestants had to whip up a dish that screamed quintessential Americana any ideas on what the dish might be sausage in a bun classic indeed but as always there’s a catch Master Chef worthy sausage from scratch yeah you heard that right the contestants had to start from scratch and to pull this feed off the home Cooks had just 60 Minutes to complete it and Andrea wasted no time in getting things started I need to go to the gym sometime later when judge Edward Lee swung by Andrea’s station to see what she was cooking her response had everyone around her drooling for more what’s going on top I’m doing some beer butter caramelized onion but despite being from Miami Andrea decided to go outside of her comfort zone and take the midwestern route a curry worst ketchup and then a pretzel roll and guess what she had the perfect explanation to Edward concerns I’m a traveler and I love food from other countries so that’s what I’m giving you guys today Andrea was quite confident that she can nail the dish if only she had a little bit more time on her hands with less than a minute left Andrea did something Unthinkable that’s not working out Andre she running yeah she put her sausage back in the pen and the judges start to get really concerned Andrea move there was barely any time left for her to walk or play to the front and Chef Ramsey was real worried Andrea you’ve got to be down here would Andrea really be able to make it in time she didn’t make it well she was 3 seconds late yeah 3 seconds this had to be first in the history of Master Chef she was so caught up in making sure that everything was perfect that she completely neglected the fact that she had to bring the dish up in the anend anyway Andrea was the third contestant to have her dish tasted was it really worth the extra handful of seconds well let’s check it out this is a brw sausage hosted pretzel bun tomato curry sauce beer butter caramelized onion it was perfect it was so good that Chef Ramsey couldn’t help but pass it around among the contestants for a taste peaceful but the famous chef was nowhere near done with the Praises he was singing seasoning is on point the texture and the ground the size of the way you ground that meat what’s more Chef Ramsey thought that it was a recipe that was worthy to go in one of his books and Andrea was on cloud n however when it was time for the results the judges seemed to be taking more time than usual and the reason well it all came back around to Andrea everybody needs to be down on that front bench within the 60 minutes she was not what same Chef Ramsey tried his best to Defender for having the best sausage of the bunch but Chef Christina was really firm about the rules I don’t think we could have made it any more clear she had the best sausage of the night okay finally a decision was made Chef Ramsey walked up to the front to share the news you arrived 3 seconds after time was up Andrea for all the deliciousness that she put into her dish broke an important rule along the way and she would pay the price for it one of the youngest inspirational amateur chefs we’ve ever had sadly going home not going into the top 10 Andrea’s time on the show came to an abrupt end making her the second person to have ever been disqualified poor Andrea couldn’t hold back tears admitting that she totally screwed up Chef Ramsey however urged her to keep cooking you have been incredible you shouldn’t be this good at 21 thank you despite the tragic turn of events and getting kicked off the show for a 3-second delay Andrea walked out of the master chef kitchen with her head held hot in the end after all she did make the best dish of the challenge and no amount of technicalities could ever take that away from her but hey let’s keep the momentum going because this next dish came very close to Andrea’s level of perfection so episode 10 of season 3 was a wild ride all thanks to an intense pressure test but there was one contestant who rose up to it in such an amazing fashion yes I’m definitely talking about Monty she Rose to the occasion of what could have been the most intense pressure test the ever seen believe me it was no Cakewalk a pizza stone wow confused well me too basically the theme of the next challenge was to use different tools of the trade so the judges had Becky the winner of the previous challenge choose between a pizza stone a Chinese walk and a deep fryer while she took the easy routes and chose the deep fryer for herself she gave the pizza stone to everyone else the home Cooks had to utilize the pizza stone to make one dish that would be their ticket to the top but let’s not forget that they only had 1 hour to prepare the dish what am I going to do with a pizza stone in under an hour the pressure was on but Monty kept it pushing Becky wants me out of the competition Becky wants everybody out of the competition at halftime when the judges walked over to Monty station they were in for a surprise where’s your dough my dough is in the oven already really Monty was working at lightning speed the judges couldn’t believe that her dough had already hit the oven and this peaked Joe’s curiosity about what she was making and her reply wasn’t exactly what he was expecting making a soda bread I make it for my son all the time a soda bread he was genuinely surprised but Monty was unfaced I’m going to make a pureed carrot soup with a touch of Ginger and lemon sest given her colorful description Joe was really skeptical but he was really curious to see if her confidence would show in the end results however hey what’s a story without a good plot twist huh and she’s now roasting the C and blend into a carrot soup I mean completely all over the place despite being the first one to get to the oven Monty had hit a roadblock with time running out she still seemed to be working on her carrot puree things weren’t exactly going in her favor and Monty was left scrambling Unsure how to fix the issue but her nightmare didn’t end there it was just the beginning as Monty was working on her puree something unexpected happened I’m defin it left everyone shocked in the realest sense of the word Chef Ramsey IM immediately rushed towards her station to check what was going on but he immediately stumbled over something else entirely uhoh what happened you burnt the bread out of all things that could have gone wrong it had to be this holy freak out Batman this is my main dish the bread was the star of the dish and without it all she had was a bowl of carrot soup which by the way wasn’t even ready yet all of Monty’s efforts had quite literally gone up in smoke but with just 5 minutes left on the clock there was no way she could start from scratch the pressure was at its peak and Monty could barely think straight the only thing left for her to do was to salvage whatever she had at hand and so she took a deep breath and got to work as Joe looked on in horror go slow go slow go slow go slow the judges had no hope for a dish I mean we all saw what happened right plus none of the contestants actually considered her a threat in the first place but this isn’t like the best budget cooking mom show you know she’s not a Master Chef anyway she was eventually called to the front to present her dish and just as she walked up Joe had a genuine question for her how do you make soup on a pizza stone that’s a pretty valid ask in my book now let’s not forget that the contestants had to use a pizza stone and Joe was visibly perplexed how Monty whipped up a soup from it however Monty’s reply really turned the tables I roasted carrots on a pizza stone and I pureed them but wait it wasn’t just the carrots I made soda bread on the pizza Stone as well what I would cook for my son and I on a rainy day she had certainly thought it through huh what’s even more impressive was the sentiment behind the dish but as you know Master Chef values quality far more than sentimentality and I don’t think I have to remind you about what happened to her bread anyway Joe took a bold step and dug in I love the soda bread it has a depth of flavor every ingredient makes sense yeah for the very first time something that he was skeptical about truly won his heart and he didn’t stop there and I would like to on a rainy day eat that whole B coming from Joe this was a huge compliment especially after all that Monty had just gone through as for Chef Ramsey well let’s say that his reaction was even better soups delicious but the bread is phenomenal great job what’s more is that he wanted to know if this was just a fluke or if she really knew how to nail this one and Monty came back with a bold reply I’m not a fluke sir well done thank you sir pretty well done ah you owned it Monty totally it was like a slap in the face for all the naysayers both on the show and watching from home who had absolutely no faith in her as a cook in the end Monty’s soda bread with
