I’m not sure about the apple in there. I’d try it though.

This is one crazy/interesting YT channel, I did not know about the “ancient food enthusiasts”. Time to go into the food rabbit hole.

I’ve been following Townsends for years, great stuff.

I would definitely try it! Of course, hubby is not as adventurous – so I would opt to use my mini pie plate and take the recipe down to 1 potato, 1 onion, 1 apple and 1 egg. The filling odes sound easy to do!
I suppose that using pre-made pie crust would be a philistine move… but I’m game for that as well.

I eat Japanese curry with “apple” flavor and I love that. Also I love eating meat with cranberry sauce so I actually don’t see why not. But now I want it 💦

I found Townsends through this sub and went down a rabbit hole. The recipe was just a roasted onion

I made this after they put it on the channel years ago. It was delicious but very hearty and filling. Definitely calorie-dense, bordering on stodgy.
