Planted several varieties of peppers in the garden 2 weeks ago. We’ve had a ton of rain the past week and hoping these will bounce back when the soil dries out a bit. Anything else to consider?

The mulch/soil is very woody looking and heavy rain can wash away or limit access to nutrients. Adding a mild fertilizing (I like liquid fish fertilizer) should help in either case. May be worth pulling mulch back from the base of the plant a little ways too.

If temperatures at night are still cool, you could try putting a brick or paver near the plant’s base to catch heat.

How does the growing tip look? If the plant is overall doing ok, the growing tip should look green and healthy, with stress showing primarily on the older leaves. May be something more to consider if the growing tip has discoloration as well.
