This is a pepper plant that I started over a year ago but had stunted growth somewhere along the way. I really liked the shape and how the roots were sticking out of the dirt so I figured I’d do the most logical thing and turn it into a bonchi.
I still need to replace the pot with a smaller one and get proper soil but I’m very happy with it so far. After thinning out the roots it is recovering nicely and has even started budding.
The smaller plants around it are baby peppers from a previous harvest that I never got around to eating. I threw a bunch of them in the dirt and now I probably have over a hundred baby pepper plants sprouting everywhere (which will all have to be transplanted eventually). 😅
