shine darling go ahead and shine hey everyone and welcome back to my channel if you’re new here my name is Tiffany beon from Beauty and the Bas and I upload every single Wednesday and Sunday today I’m going to be showing you how I transformed my body over 8 weeks in a healthy way so for those of you who don’t know I am a mom of four with kids ranging from ages 9 to 3 and it has taken me a while to figure out what works for me not just to get my body back but as I get older I’m 35 I’ll be 36 in July I just really think about being as healthy as I can be for my family to be there for them to be able to keep up with my kids and grandkids one day so that is genuinely what motivates me it helps when you feel stronger and feel confident of course which I definitely do feel much stronger and much more confident than I did eight weeks ago so the program that I’m using is called first form and it’s an app this is not sponsored by the way I’m just letting you know what worked for me it’s an app that you download on your phone and it helps you count your Macros it has your workouts on it and the program that I’m doing was minimal equipment I did the first version and now that I’m going into my second set of 8 weeks I’m doing the 2.0 version you can do there’s all different types of workouts to choose from but I chose to do the minimal equipment one so I can just keep everything to my at home gym um I do use the treadmill you can run outside for the portions where you need to run whatever works for you but basically all I use are some dumbbells body weight a jump rope this treadmill and I do use a bench which you can make when I was at the bay I made a makeshift bench out of my bed so if you want to make it work you can make it work but I just feel like for $12 a month getting your customized macros where you just scan all your Foods in um and getting your workout one of the best parts is your advisor which I’ll have my advisor I’ll have my link down below everything down below so that we can share the same advisor Brie she’s amazing she’s one of my subscribers and she reached out to me right before April telling me about the challenge and I was looking to try something new so I was like okay let’s give it a shot and I couldn’t be happier it was one of the best yeses that I’ve ever made so I do work work out 6 days a week which sounds super intimidating but it’s truly not most of the workouts are only a half hour long and they’re very very doable when I first started I will say the first 2 weeks I was really sore and then after that like my body just adjusted really well I barely get sore anymore and I just feel so much better I do wake up at 5:45 which is a big no for a lot of people but that to me is the only way I can get my workout in is doing it before the kids are awake because there’s no way I’m working out at night by the end of my days I just collapse into bed and I can’t even imagine trying to work out at night with having kids when I was younger when I was in nursing school I used to work out you know I just go right after nursing school no big deal go before work but now it’s just I don’t have that luxury and this is what works for me so two things that I feel like you should do is one figure out your why why do you want to get in better shape why do you want to be stronger why do you want to be healthier and two when is the best time for you to work out how can you fit this into your busy schedule I like you know my channel is all about helping moms that’s the whole reason I started my channel 7 years ago and I just wish that I could you know give you the motivation to do this for yourself because besides like looking and feeling better mentally I’m s in such a better place and a better mom I have more patience with my kids I can keep up with them I can play with them more and I just I want to I want that for you as well so no matter where you’re starting from I know you can do it I have recently had people in my life notice my body changing like what are you doing and I will say a lot of times when I tell them that I work out 6 days a week and eat healthy they almost seem disappointed that I didn’t say like some quick pill or OIC or something like that they definitely seem disappointed but I feel like putting in the work is where it’s at because that’s where you’re getting this health from right like you’re getting strength you’re getting muscular you’re getting stamina that was another huge thing that increased in me is my stamina when I first started working out I was dying through these workouts and you know before this program I used e2m and I love e2m I have nothing bad to say about them I just wanted to try something new so the biggest difference between this and e2m which a lot of people asked about was you can eat whatever you want on this as long as it fits in your Macros e2m is a little bit more restrictive there’s like no Dairy and things like that um and I just I’m somebody that that really loves food I love cooking I like making new recipes and so this just worked out better for me I also like tracking my macros so a lot of times with tracking your Macros again it all seems intimidating at first but you get yourself into a routine and it becomes normal and easy for you a lot of meals that I track I can just copy and paste into other days um you know it’s it’s very very easy there’s Barcode Scanner that makes it simple there’s quick calorie ad if you want to do this you can do it that’s the bottom line I will say another thing that really motivates me is my Apple watch because I have my rings that I try to clothes every day and it just reminds me where I’m at in the day you don’t it’s not something that you absolutely need but I will say it does motivate me so after my workout I am just making a protein shake for Chris and I and I use first worms products now um they have a product called Ignition that I only use like a tiny bit of that like helps Muscle Recovery and build muscle I use a half a scoop of creatine because I don’t like to use a whole scoop and then a scoop of protein so so you know you can skip the powders all together but I just wanted to accelerate my muscle gains and I like how it tastes and I just like having it in the morning it’s not a meal replacement or anything like that I’m still going to have a delicious healthy breakfast but I do look forward to having this after my workouts [Music] so after I finished my shake of course I have a cup of coffee I just use an espresso and I just use some MK um I don’t like artificial sweeteners or even the monk fruit I just don’t like how it tastes I’m fine with just a little bit of MK and that’s it um so I use either the cashew MK or the almond milk [Music] I should also mention that I’ve been gluten-free forever now honestly I don’t even remember over 10 years um so I use gluten-free products it’s very easy for me just cuz I’m so used to it I have Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism which everyone always talks about how much weight you gain on that luckily I’ve been able to control it with 100 micrograms of Synthroid and I also eat gluten-free just to help with inflammation so um today I am making a delicious egg wrap and I’m using three egg whites one regular egg I’m using six of these tomatoes and I love this um it’s like a colby jack cheese from Aldi I’m obsessed with it and then the wrap that I’m using for on the top and bottom is the ciete ca flower wraps as my carb so this is I go on kicks of like where I really like something for a while so this is my current kick and then I’ll find like a new breakfast that I like but I love this because it has some fresh veggies in it it’s delicious I do feel feel like the cheese really makes it um and it’s high protein [Music] is definitely much easier when you have like a regular tortilla these wraps are smaller a little bit more flimsy but they are delicious and it’s worth it [Music] [Music] [Music] I feel like I have a lot of fun counting my macros because it I thought I was eating healthy before but I had no idea that I wasn’t getting nearly enough protein I just thought I was somebody who just had a hard time building muscle but that’s not the case at all I wasn’t eating nearly enough protein I just wanted to give you a little example here of how easy it is to scan everything in if you don’t want to use this app that’s absolutely fine but I just love all that the app has to offer and I feel like you can’t be I think it’s like $12.99 a month um so I just I love this but you can still get my exercise ideas and my healthy meal ideas and not do the app but I highly recommend it because it holds you accountable Bri is amazing and I don’t know I just feel like you will really enjoy it everybody who has signed up since learning about it from me has only said good things to me so I know that you’ll love it [Music] too so since starting the app I have definitely gained muscle and every week we do um pictures to show your progress right in the app there’s a part where you upload your pictures and your weight just to kind of track everything you can even do body measurements if you’d like I did not do that um but it’s really cool to measure where you started at and where you’re at now I feel like that’s also important to see like how far you’ve come and it motivates me to keep going [Music] it’s also really important to me to have 120 ounces of water per day so I fill up my Stanley a couple times a day it’s midafternoon I’m having a little pickme up I just get a black iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts with one pump of unsweetened coconut and that’s like such a tree I love that so on this particular day we had a surprise play date with some of E’s preschool friends so I had everybody over and the kids just want like the water blow ups and everything but then I had to run cuz I’m room mom for um Carter’s class and I had to run to his class we did an ice cream party for the end of school year and I didn’t have time to make a full-blown lunch so this is always a great um substitute not for lunch or like a snack to hold you over the yogurt has a ton of protein in it I love the purely Elizabeth um granola and then I’m just adding some frozen blueberries as well and you will see that I use the scale for everything I’ll have it linked down below but it’s important to measure your food especially when you’re just like learning how to track your Macros um so I do like to use this scale because not only does it keep me on track I feel like it makes me eat more because it’s measuring things exactly whereas if I were to measure them I would put a little less but this is a great on the-go option it’s a very very important to have easy high protein things on hand that you can just grab and don’t have to cook so with that being said I’m home now and I didn’t want like a full lunch I wanted like kind of like a snack plate like a 5-year-old because I like doing this so I’m just having shredded buffalo chicken a mozzarella string cheese and some grapes and carrots so it’s kind of like a buffalo chicken dip to me and I’ll go ahead and show you how I make that the night before I just put chicken breast in the crock pot with a half of not not even like a quar packet of ranch seasoning when I’ve done more than that I feel like it gets too salty for me so just like a quarter packet just kind of cover it like that some buffalo sauce and then I let it cook on high for 4 hours and I love having that prepared for the week ahead it’s so easy to grab out it’s versatile and you can put it in anything I tried to be [Music] everything sold out just look at me I’m a with h EMP out can’t be found you every of me remember am [Music] [Music] without so like I said I’m just having some carrots with that and some grape and shring cheese I don’t know about you guys but sometimes I love like a little snack board like this instead of like a full lunch just depending on my mood all of your mistakes but way too we now craing [Music] on I also genuinely love eating outside and with this I am drinking they’re so good from Whole Foods it’s like strawberry Mint seltz or water there’s nothing in it like no calories or anything but I just like to have something like that with my meals sometime especially if I’m eating something [Music] salty just let it go let it go go what the show me have the big kids are home from school and the girls wanted to have a girl time snack they call it which is cute the boys are playing with their friends um so I’m just having a chocolate rice cake with them and then Ella and I are headed to the store she’s so cute with her little shopping cart it made my mama heart so happy that she was still interested in this little shopping cart but definitely get a lot more when she’s with me but I just love shopping with her she’s adorable she’s obsessed with organizing her cart I don’t know where she gets it from um being sarcastic and she also got like bottles of water by [Music] [Music] herself let me [Music] you’re going to think that I’m crazy but I’m making three different dinners I’m making a giant package of taco meat because Ella and Tanner really wanted tacos and I really wanted the leftovers for my lunches because I love having like taco meat with sweet potatoes or with like tortilla chips and cheese so I like having that on hand it’s one of my go-to so we are making that and then I’m also making ravioli for Carter because he wanted that and it takes no time to cook so I made him that he also had tacos as well and then for Chris and I I’m doing zoodles with alfredo sauce and sweet Italian turkey sausage Ella is so cute she loves to help me with everything um so I just really like don’t mind cooking multiple meals if I know that one my kids are going to eat and two I’ll have leftovers because especially in the summertime we’re more LAX with meals and a lot of times I wind up just having like leftover multiple nights because we like to stay out longer and play outside longer and have quick meals otherwise we’ll just Grill and eat outside so don’t hate on zoodles one I thought my kids would hate zoodles and then when Chris and I started eating them I found out that they also love zoodles so that’s another thing is giving your kids a good example um the reason why I’m having zoodles instead of pasta is because I wanted dessert tonight if you want pasta eat your pasta then you might just not have enough left for dessert so I was saying with the kids teach teaching them that you know their mom is working out to be healthy is teaching setting a good example and just eating healthy they might try some new healthy foods so here is a classic example of like false advertisement I thought this creamy cauliflower alfredo would be less calories than Classico and that was a lie it was like way more more fat more calories more carbs more everything and it had a lot of weird oils in it so I just went with good old fashion class I Alfredo for it but I just wanted to point that out so you don’t just read the front you have to read the back as well what out [Music] of all right Taco me is done I’m just cooking these sausages one thing I love about these is that they’re pre-cooked so they cook up really quickly you just basically need to warm up this and then alfredo sauce I also got some sundried tomatoes to add in there this is a very fast and easy meal which has been you know really helpful lately with tracking macros fast easy and healthy another brand that I really love is Amy l i talk about them a lot I get them from Costco you can get them other places they have meatballs Burgers um sausages just basically precooked high protein meats that you can use um and I love that because they just cook so fast and it’s [Music] easy so once the sausage is like warmed up I’m just adding in our alfredo sauce and some sundried Tomatoes I’ll let that get nice and bubbly and warm and then you just add in the zucchini Noles for honestly not that long at all because you don’t want them to be mushy [Music] I don’t know if you’ve noticed but I’ve been putting the macros on screen for every meal so you can pause and just look to see how much each thing is if you are interested in seeing how the macros work ched my macros four times I think since starting the program because um at I think like around the third week I lost a little bit too much weight and like we were slowly adding back in more calories and things like that and now I feel like I’m at my sweet spot where I’m nice and full every day I’m satisfied I’m not feeling tired or anything like that um so that’s what is so important about having an advisor so you can talk to them about how you’re feeling and they just help you figure out what works for you so that’s why Bri is amazing so if you click down the arrow in the description box I will have the first form app to use my link in 2 seconds and then had two more servings so you never know unless you try it next I’m making my dessert which is just some strawberries with some peanut butter chocolate chips and what else did I put in there peanut butter oh and a little bit of the too good vanilla yogurt I feel like it like replaces whipped cream and you’re getting some added protein but I’m a dessert girl I will always save macros for dessert I really hope that you enjoyed this video if you’re somebody like me that likes to promote wellness and like just people living their best life and you have friends or family that just like kind of laughs at it or doesn’t really get it or says they’re not doing it or they can’t wake up early or they can’t work out just remember that you can tell people about it but it’s ultimately up to them for when they’re ready to get healthy cuz there’s been times where I’m just like upset that like family members won’t try to get healthy but that you can only do your part so just remember that and I feel like today I hope that like you take this as your sign to live your best life maybe eat a little bit healthier exercise um one thing that like really matters to me is again I know we can’t control what happens with our health totally but we can control a portion of it but I just I want to be as healthy as possible for my children and be there for them I don’t want Did you quit your nursing career?
Your measurements are off if you are weighting your foods inside their original containers. I’d recommend you weight them on their own to have a more accurate macro count. 😊 I love watching your videos btw.
