My first ever home grown onions! One is the size of a soft ball!
Bonus shot of my biggest garlic. I loved growing these and will again for sure. Their necks tipped over so I assumed it’s ready to pull. There’s still more in the garden too. I’m thrilled.

Thats awesome!!! What’s the secret to growing onions? I tried last year and failed. I bought some small onion starter from a store and planted but they never amounted to anything. On the contrary last fall I planted some garlic cloves and though I didn’t harvest yet (soon) they tops look healthy.
