Had this vegan sushi plate in a restaurant called Chirashiya in Kamakura. It has a great variety of flavours and textures. From sea urchin sushi made with pumpkin, to salmon roe that’s made with tapioca, it really is an amazing experience. The owners are also super warm and friendly.
Kamakura is about one hour from Tokyo, which makes it a great day trip idea for vegan foodies.
