I’m on the adventure of testing out different batard shaping methods! Decided to video this one to see where I can improve/change/ etc, thought I’d share if anyone is interested in trying it out!     My suggestion is do not shape with any flour at all , it won’t stick as much to the surface and to your hands

    touching it too much imo, just make every move count. Shaping methods do affect rise and crumb though as does how much force you put into it regardless of how.

    When pressing/stitching parts together, you want to use broader finger contact with the least amount of overall contact possible. Gingerly poking and faffing will cause you to lose more hard-earned gas than you should.
