  1. the tacos and tostadas are also amazing. I miss when he also did burgers and fried “chicken” too, though he brought back the chicken fried corn and I think he might be expanding the menu to include more stuff over in the new SF location too.

    I’ve been getting his food since back when he was doing weekend popups. So happy to see the success he’s having now, he has earned it. The food has been consistently mind blowing, unlike anything else I’ve been able to find.

    Ok, I need to check this place out. I’ve been going to Rico Rico Vegano because I can walk to it, it’s amazing too! I love Oakland!

    this place so fire. went to their san fran location n even met the owner Raul. barbacoa tacos n chicken nachos were heavensent

    Owner is straight up a lunatic. Wanted to support him but the amount of prejudice and nonsense he speaks makes his food shitty. It’s not much special than other Mexican spots in ca. But first time I ate there he was serving out of the butchers son and gave me a burnt tamale. I told him it was burnt and he was like “sometimes you get the burnt one,” and wouldn’t give me a replacement. I’ve eaten there other times since but it’s mid at most.

    I’m a foo too. I get it, being brown in the food world is hard. But this foo is just punching the air most of the time
