hello everyone it’s Tandy waya here and I’m going to jump right into how I made this peach iced tea first things first you want to prepare your peaches go ahead choose your peaches rinse them off dry them and then cut and add the peaches to a bowl for later next up you’ll add sugar to the peaches that are in the bowl I usually use cane sugar go ahead and use brown sugar but the point is to add 2 to three spoonfuls of sugar to the peaches before we blend them up next up you want to prepare your blender you’re going to transfer your peaches and sugar into the blender we’re going to blend this peaches and sugar with no water first once we blend the peaches and the sugar together we’ll then add water and continue blending once your blender stops and you cannot continue blending the peaches or the sugar go ahead and add the water and then we’ll blend up this mixture some more as an FYI and you’ll also see later this Blended mixture is what we’re using to create the simple syrup we’re going to strain this mixture and that will help us create a simple syrup next up grab a stove pot we’re going to add the Blended peaches in the sugar to it to get out all the flavors before we strain it for simple syrup go ahead and turn the stove pot up we’re going to bring this to a light boil and then let simmer for 5 minutes be sure to stir consistently so that the mixture is evenly cooked on the stove this is the base for your simple syrup you’ll notice the consistency will get more and more liquefied once it’s in liquid form go ahead and grab something to boil water in I’m using a kettle you want to boil the water which will be used to make the iced tea while the water is boiling we can go ahead and strain our simple syrup to get as much juice out of it as possible want to grab a strainer and sit it on top of a bowl to get ready to pour the peach puree simple syrup into the strainer to get the juices out of it you notice that it’s working when the peach prie starts getting thick again that’s because the liquid is now underneath it in the bowl once you’ve had it strained for a while go ahead and pick up the strainer and you’ll see all the juices that you have for your simple syrup which will be used to make our iced tea now it’s time to make the iced tea go ahead and add the boiling water to a pan and decide which kind of tea you’ll be using for your tea I’m using using black tea bags but feel free to use whatever tea you have or whatever tea is your favorite but for this recipe I’m choosing black tea bags insert the tea bags into the boiling water I would recommend leaving the tea bags in the pot of boiling water for at least 7 to 10 minutes the longer you leave it the stronger the tea flavor will be grab a glass to make a personal cup of the peach iced tea Next Up Add Ice to the glass we will be building this drink on Ice remember this is a peach iced tea so it’s important to add ice to the glass because that is what’s going to cool down the boiling water and the simple syrup next you want to pour the simple syrup on top of the ice in the glass next up it’s finally time to add the tea to our ice and Peach simple syrup probably have leftover ingredients which is great you can have yourself a couple of glasses of peach iced tea or you can feel free to make some for your friends and family last but not least we want to add some garnishes to this dish this includes lemon or lime I’m choosing a lime cut your lime into wedges which will be used to add some lime juice to our peach iced tea and a garnish to add on top grab something to stir I’m using a straw be sure to stir this up good the peach iced tea is looking so good it’s cold just how I like it the chunks of ice are still in solid form feel free to use a pitcher as opposed to a glass I love to make personal glasses of my drinks but all of these ingredients could have been added to a picture and you could have poured it out of a picture but be sure to still build it on ice even if you use a picture and just like that you have peach iced tea thank you everyone for tuning in please hit hit that subscribe button I look forward to Bringing more content to you
