Student Mealz – Student Meals – StudentMealz – StudentMeals

hello there and welcome to student meals in this episode were making a very very delicious applesauce my mother used to make it for me and I loved it so much so I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did the ingredients are some cinnamon some brown sugar and four apples now these apples they are quite soft and they’ve been lying around here for quite a while so they are perfect to make applesauce from so if you have like apples lying around that aren’t really that fresh to eat just use them to make this applesauce let’s get started first of all we’re going to peel the apples so do make sure you get rid of all of the skin because when you cook them it might turn out quite bitter and now we’re just going to cut them up first remove the seed and then cut them up roughly so there you go take a pot and put it on fire and now we’re just going to add 500 milliliters of water throw in the apples we’re just going to let it all cook until the apples get very Brown and all mushy make sure to stir it up from time to time so that nothing gets burned so you’ll notice that the apples will lose their juices as well so you can just get rid of some water what we’re trying to do is just to make sure that just the bottom is covered with water and that the apples aren’t like swimming in it when you notice the water is boiling just lower the fire and give it a stir as you can see now it’s already starting to look like a real apple sauce so from this point we’re just going to keep stirring until you have the right consistency so now it’s time to add some sea this is of course completely to taste I’m going to add some cinnamon give that a stir and I’m also going to add some brown sugar I’m going to start with a tablespoon and then you can just you know make it sweeter or whatever you like and this is actually very much to taste I think I’m just going to leave it like this you can see this is almost up when you have like a blobby mixture I’m going to take this off the fire so the last step remaining is to mash it a bit with a potato masher this is just to get rid of like the big chunks of Apple you can do this with a mixer and then you have like a nice and smooth sauce now in this stage you can certainly give it another taste and if you don’t really like the sweetness so you want it sweeter or you want more cinnamon just add it all in there and there you have it a nice pot of apple sauce you can eat it like this hot or you can place it in the fridge and eat it nice and cold you can eat it with some nice fresh meat or with some ice cream as a dessert just very delicious and now for the taste test this is so good this really brings me back to my childhood absolutely clean delicious thank you guys so much for watching this episode if you liked it feel free to give us a thumbs up or place a comment in the comment section below and once again see you next week oh boy

  1. Awesome! Thanks, you guys! I'll definitely be doing this recipe. Lord knows we have a lot of apples growing in the yard that need to be used. Lol.

  2. but the real student question is… how long can you keep this for 🤣(please answer though, I'm genuinely curious)
