Begrudgingly ordered as a 20 year old Mexican woman who prides herself on her food and will always believer her Mexican food specifically will be better than any meal kit. Safe to say I was very humbled. My boyfriend LOVES Mexican food or anything close to it and urged me to get these when we sat down to pick out the meals for the next week. He’d never had flautas and asked me if we could do them for the following week. Me being my prideful self insisted I could just grocery shop and make them on my own. He did have a point when he asked why when it could all be delivered, so I swallowed my pride and agreed. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
TLDR: I am an egotistical Mexican woman that ate her words over a bunch of recipes in a box that saved me effort in the long run and still became a regular in my dinner rotation.

*Note:” We get the meal for 4 and I portion and prep them as needed to cut down prep time as a college student. We weren’t too hungry and had two each. His is the top portion and mine is the bottom. I also added lime, cilantro, and a bit of extra onion to the pico bc as a Mexican, pico with no lime and cilantro seemed like a crime.

As a Texan, I resisted getting things like enchiladas. But I was wrong, it works out well. Cheers!
