Didn’t remove do not eat packet before heating up instant topokki
I put the sauce and the rice cakes into the cup WITHOUT removing the packet and i put it in the microwave, i noticed a smell so i checked inside and saw this. Could this be dangerous? Are the rice cakes still ok to eat?

If the packet is sealed and nothing is leaking out of it, I would say it is safe to eat. If else, I don’t think I would want to eat one.

Assuming its silica gel. Which just removes excess moisture. It just absorbs water or vapor. It shouldnt hurt you even consumed. They just state it because your not supposed to eat it
