Did something a little different, smoked then braised some ox tail, stir fried rice with bok choy & red pepper. Overcooked my omurice omelette 🤬 but the Japanese curry made with the drippings/braising liquid hit on another level 👌🏻

    I’ve had oxtails a buncha ways. But never smoked. How much of the smoke flavor remains after braising? Perfect for fried rice ! Very creative!
