[Music] one of my friends I’m Frankie welcome to club food they are so many salad recipes out there but only a few are classic besides Waldorf tabbouleh can pleasing Greek and so on there’s one that I really love and I’ve been making for years the recipe originated in Mexico during Prohibition and has been popular ever since in today’s episode I’ll show you how to make my Caesar salad this is a salad that I not only enjoy as a site but also as a meal my version of some zip to it from the horseradish making it quite delicious this classic salad is definitely a great addition to your recipe folder so my friends let’s get cooking one of the most important thing to do with fresh produce is to wash it using an organic fruit and vegetable wash helps to remove pesticides dirt and wax although I don’t mention it most of the time I always wash my produce so I let it live sit for five to ten minutes before rinsing it thoroughly I give it a few good spins to remove any excess water and then I place it in a salad bag after that I place the bag in a freezer for 15 to 20 minutes before moving it to the fridge until I’m ready to serve you won’t believe how nice and crispy the letter’s becomes perfect every time as you saw my dressing was already made so let’s do that together now before pressing any garlic look at one club in half and rub the bottom and the sides of the bowl we’ll add a one egg yolk and Dijonnaise now if you cannot find it or want to make your own click on the top right corner of your screen then horseradish same here if you want a homemade recipe for this you know what to do well whisk the ingredients aren’t ill well blended before adding press girlie worship the shower sauce and freshly ground black pepper whisk again to mix and then we’ll slowly pour the oil into the mixture this emulsifies the dressing so it doesn’t separate whisking continuously we’ll pour in the lemon juice next we’ll add about a quarter cup of parmigiano-reggiano cheese and whisk it into the mixture when we’re ready to serve we’ll dump or chilled lettuce in the bowl and add some cooked bacon well gently toss a salad until the leaves are well coated to this we’ll add capers and croutons I have a lovely homemade recipe for croutons too so to get it click on the top right corner of your screen well dust once again sprinkle on more cheese and serve immediately and my friends this is our Caesar salad crisp creamy and incredibly delicious this isn’t your everyday salad but it could be now there you have this recipe it pairs very well with a nice thick or other proteins this is different via salad you can serve all year round I hope you give it a try soon and be sure to visit the foodie calm for gradient a month and more info until next time my friend [Music]

Yes, please!
Oh my! That sure is quite an eleboration of my usual ceasar salad dressing. Ceasar Salad is one of our top favorite foods…sometimes with a little bit of shrimp or chicken. Now you've raised it to a new level. We have always said, "You can never have too much flavor"! Beautiful!
Very nice! I LOVE capers, nice change from anchovies which I rarely use as I have leftovers. Never tried horseradish before.
