    > Old craigslist ad

    Slowly but surely, these scumbags are learning they’re not worthy of exploiting someone’s passion for underpriced labor. No one who’s so much as bussed a Michelin Star/Beard kitchen should be within six miles of a “microkitchen.”

    Rule #1…. Don’t be a bitch!
    😂

    >you will grow fond of your earnings

    >$14/hr

    Choose only one:

    * $14 per hour.
    * Surviving in Anchorage.

    I can’t imagine that basic commodities & services have somehow become cheaper in Anchorage than the lower 48 but down here in California the McDonalds are paying over $20 an hour and always hiring. The cheap fuck that posted that ad deserves to go out of business.

    Translation: You will be made to do all the shitty jobs that nobody else can be bothered to do. In addition, you will be vilified if your standards are not consistently higher than ours, so that we can claim the credit. Finally, once you’ve worked your arse off for fuck-all money and improved the standards of everything, we’ll withhold your tips and fire you.

    That’s an awful lot of blown-up ethos to say ‘you’re gonna get screwed’.

    The tone in which this posting is written makes me never want to work with whoever wrote it and whoever else approved it.

    F Street Station?

    I worked at Humpy’s for 9 years, 3 as a cook 6 as a server. It was some time ago when the OG owners ran the place.

    Edit: Made 13/hr in 1999 as a cook there.

    Ughh. “Rockstars love to suffer” bullshit post. COVID kinda changed how people create listings now.

    Is it normal for the dish pit to be in view of the public?
