(9a) I transplanted my tomatoes into beds about a month ago, and everyone had been trucking along nicely for a while, but I noticed early last week that one of my plants (out of 11 throughout the property, most being different varieties) was looking significantly less thrilled than the rest. My Better Boy (last picture for reference) is only 2.5' away, transplanted at the same time into the same bed and getting the same care, and you can see he is simply loving life. Over the weekend I gave the ML an extra deep drink of water with fish emulsion because I thought the curling leaves were a stmptom of thirst… This didn't seem to accomplish much. Also in the same bed are a Momotaro and Super Fantastic, which seem happy though they aren't growing as fast as my BB.

Any clues as to what could be going on with the Mortgage Lifter? Deficiency, overwatering, hopefully it isn't a disease or something…? I'm concerned but too much of a beginner to know which angle to tackle. I know I'm probably going to have enough tomatoes this year regardless, but this one was the variety my boyfriend chose so I'd really like to keep it alive if possible. 😅

She must be stuck in an adjustable mortgage rate. Times are tough for those not locked in on the low low rates of the previous years.

I would cut off the bottom branches especially if they are touching the ground. Also, dissolve a tablespoon of Epson Salt in a gallon of water and pour it on the plant. You will be amazed.
