Newbie tomato gardener here. I’m so excited to see this!!! Don’t know how long the garden will hold out. It’s getting super hot here already.

It’s a good feeling when the tomatoes start coming in! Do you have some shade cloth up yet? I’m in NE Texas, 8a, and had to put mine up a couple weeks ago. The afternoon sun is fierce. Wilts the plant regardless of watering. Not sure about your location, but it’s worth considering. Shade cloth is one of those “do no harm” measures.

I’m in 6A, and my first tomato harvest seems months away….but more likely within 2 weeks!
