g’day guys Greg here well today I was going to show you how to make some delicious honey glazed carrots it’s a great side dish and really popular here in Australia if you ever go to a family gathering you’ll always find these on the table so let me show you how to make them so this is what you’re going to need to make it honey glazed carrots I’ll leave all the ingredients listed down below in the show more bar and of course I’ll be saying it along the way as I’m making it so the first thing I need to do is prepare my carrots so I’m going to peel the skin off them and then either cut them into long slithers or short chunky chunks and by the magic of YouTube that’s done I’ll go for the chunk option because that’s easiest alright so now into a saucepan I’m going to add some salt in there and over to the filling station I’m just going to add some more and then whack that on the stove and I’m going to bring that to the boil alrighty so now what size character boiling I’m going to turn the head right down whack the lid on and I’m going to cook that for 15 minutes and then hopefully that’ll be the perfect softness 15 minutes basically we just want them nice soft and tender like my heart so just boil them until I get to that stage all righty well the time is just gone off so what we’re going to do now is is just drain these off so over to the draining station and now back over to our stove I’m going to start melting all these ingredients so four tablespoons of bar oh yeah four tablespoons our honey one two three four our three tablespoons a brown sugar and now on a low to medium heat we’re just going to stir this and combine it until all that brown sugar has dissolved and now we’re just going to have the juice of half a lemon and we just gently stir this through until the carrots have reheated and they’re nicely glazed and that’s in there done so now to serve these up add some cracked black pepper on top and there you have it the perfect side dish some honey glazed carrots boy they smell good anyway let’s see what they taste like Oh YUM mmm Wow photos fantastic now I’m not a massive fan of cooked carrots but I got to tell you those days absolutely fantastic in fact I’ll probably go back for seconds well I have that recipe comes in handy for you do give it a try and if you do let me know how your stands out anyway thanks for watching remember to give this video some thumb and love and I’ll see you next time right here on Greg’s kitchen we Rex Cashion where the honey cause carrots a man for you to use as a side dish perfectly an ex Katherine yeah

  8. I've only had these once and it was at my grandma's house and they tasted so yummy but my mum told me my grandma only chucked in some honey in the boiling water while the carrots were in there and now in confused if my mum got the recipe wrong or if it's another way or if this is the right way

  9. Thank you, sir! I have wanted to learn how to honey roast carrots for a while. They will make a mighty fine dinner; along with corn on the cob, and garden-grown green beans!
