good Monday we’re reviewing stag chili I’ve never had stag chili stag chili was brought to my attention by Alex thanks Alex I ordered a sample pack off Amazon I cannot find it locally anywhere the sample pack came with two Classics Silverado Laredo dynamite and a country some of them had little tiny dents I’m not too worried about there’s a little Dent here but my country arrived opened the lid was pushed in No Country for you my original plan was to have chili every day for 5 days no we’re not we’re going to do it all in one day so we’ll go two and two rate them I have heard the dynamite really is hot we’ll have to see there’s not much else to say let’s talk yapping and let’s start making some chili all right we’re starting with classic and Silverado beef set that aside let’s open her up now okay and Silverado beef oh that’s a darker color all right classic chili with beans spicy slow simmered Tu bean chili that’s all it says under that Tu Bean beef tomato and it it looks a little more tomato let’s not forget Silverado is in the Farberware right Silverado is in the Farberware it smells good I am not going to try it cold because this came from Amazon and I’m going to boil this good to make sure we don’t get botulism classic is in the back it’s nice and thick I like the color it does smell good all right Riv Weare barberware let’s make some chili while they’re cooking let’s just take a quick look at the ingredients you’ve got classic Silverado we’re having chili classic Silverado let’s take a bite a classic first get a bean oh there’s a green pepper a hot M oh that tastes good and that’s got a kick I can’t imagine what Dynamite tastes like that has a little bit of a kick it’s not lingering all right a little bit with rice I like that M Silverado has a darker color H it does have a different flavor Silverado is supposed to be more tomato based let’s get some with rice I see the Tomato pieces of tomato so far classic I thought had a better more robust flavor M now meat taste good soft and tender what is Silverado oh man they’re both good this is going to be tough they’re both good it looks like there are more beans in the Silverado so classic Silverado man I’m not sure the difference is that noticeable visually it is they’re both good for some reason I’m thinking the classic has a slightly more robust flavor I think they’re both good let’s just see if the sodium is the same all right sodium sodium Silverado 860 sodium classic 9.90 you know sodium can really throw you off it might be why I like that more more sodium you know we love we love sodium it’s bad for us but we love sodium Silverado not a fair fight I like them both I’m going to have to go with the higher sodium though you know I don’t know why the sodium let’s move on to round two round two having our second round of chili Laro and dynamite let’s open them up smells okay looks more vegetable blend of green chili and jalapenos all right Dynamite chili this looks very red in the videos I’ve seen okay smell it smells good smells chilly doesn’t look as red but maybe it’ll turn red in the pan dynamite in the Farberware I have heard Dynamite is very hot come on Laro and Riv Weare Dynamite ingredients Laro let’s take a look at Laro Dynamite whoa I want to start with dynamite dynamite chili I need my other glasses damn it Dynamite I can see it now here we go oo oh it’s kicking in oh I can taste the spice oh it does have a little bit of the same flavor we tried in the others there’s a there’s a similarity to these chilies the classic the Silverado let’s try another bite it’s it’s not too spicy it it it hits you and then it leaves let’s try it again it’s delicious let’s try it with some rice now Laro green you can see them green chilies and jalapeno I can take taste them right away let’s try with a little rice just by looking I like the appearance of the dynamite it’s definitely got a heat to it a little sweetness tastes a little bit more salty is that possible we’re going to have to check the sodiums you know we like sodium but boy the Dynamite’s really good I don’t think this is a bad heat like it’s not overwhelming me but it’s definitely in the back of my throat and I really like the flavor I think Laro is the least appealing uh visually so far but it’s it it really has the flavor of chili let’s take a quick look at the um sodium and sugar Laredo 990 sodium doesn’t that match the classic and sugar I got to I can’t see four gram Dynamite sodium 840 is that the lowest of the sodiums and sugar 10 10 gram of sugar why why did they have to do that four grams of sugar and we didn’t check sugar in the other ones let’s just check sugar in the classic n gr of sugar and I didn’t really notice the sugar like I notice it in the dynamite all right Silverado and the Silverado is lower in sodium 860 but the sugar is eight wow I’ll be right back and we’ll grade them overall please though raing went through five I’m going to give Laredo a three it was good I could taste the blend of chilies and jalapenos but it was my least favorite of the four Dynamite I was a little disappointed I’m going to rate it a four out of five the dynamite did not live up to its name it was hot it was spicy but not dynamite and the sweetness caught me off guard a little bit 10 g of sugar Silverado liked it a lot I liked it almost as much as a classic both very good flavors I’m going to give them each of five I almost wanted to dock this a star because of the high sodium 990 mg versus 860 but at the end of the day I think these two are tops I’m going to have to go with classic as the most overall best flavor in fact I really enjoyed them all except for this one that exploded on the way here and no textured protein no soy textured protein I
