Most hot sauces of this type have near zero calories. It’s the sodium that gets ya.

    I like Tapatío.

  2. I love the Avocado hot sauce on my ham egg and cheese wraps in the morning (300 cal). Look forward to that sauce!

Cholula both the original and the green

I am obsessed with Yellowbird hot sauces and I have every flavor in my fridge. Most hot sauces are very low calorie, so you can put it on everything lol

    Mustard for almost everything!!!

Life without hot sauce would be so dreary!!

I’m a fan of old school Tabasco, but might try the green…I do like other green sauces.

El yucateco Chile habanero (the green one)

  8. BananaMartini

I am obsessed with this stuff. Makes an egg sandwich perfection.

Not necessarily a sauce but the cowboy caviar from Trader Joe’s makes a great dip or condiment. I don’t like most cowboy caviars but their’s is a beautiful mix of sweet, smoky, and spicy.

I use all the hot sauces. Most of them are low to no calories depending on how much you use and they can really add flavor to boring food if you didn’t go too spicy

Franks Xtra hot and also Melinda’s fire roasted garlic and habanero. Tabasco habanero, Tabasco scorpion pepper. A lot of them!!

Salsa, hot sauce, mix either of those with some nf Greek yogurt.

Sometimes Krogers has some sauces that are low cal on sale and I’ll get them but it’s not often so I don’t really know brands. But like Asian style.

Sriracha is my all time favorite but I really like this one in the pic too

Hot ones “Verde” is my favorite green sauce ever.

There’s one I found called muck monster and it’s garlic and serrano and that is a very good second. I get it from a flea market so I have no idea of its availability.

Liking spicy food is a blessing when you’re trying to watch your intake. You can add a TON of flavor for not a lot of calories!

But beside hot sauce, mustard can be really useful! If you like spicy, then there are some great spicy mustards. Inglehoffer (I think that’s the brand) does a great sweet and hot that really isn’t that sweet at all lol.

Branch out from the common grocery store ones. Some of them are alright, but pretty lacking in flavor overall.

Find something at a high end grocery store or a farmers market. The difference in flavor will blow your mind.
