[Music] hello guys and welcome to my Channel today I am very excited to show you one of the best Greek comfort food recipes classic Greek meatballs juicy pork meatballs flavored with herbs and spices and then fried until perfectly golden serve them with french fries for the ultimate dish so guys if you ever travel to grease in aens probably you will smell something nice these are the Greek meatballs I will show you the recipe it’s very easy to prepare and everybody can make the best meatballs ever now I need my meat I have minced pork into my fridge if you want to use uh beef you can use instead the beef or mix half half you can do also and first of all I will add the breadcrumbs and the meat together I need to wear gloves and I’m already preheating my oil because actually it is a 2 3 minutes Hands-On recipe as you can see we have a lot of bread because we want the meatballs to become very fluffy and sexy that’s why we using a lot of bread because actually the bread will absorb all the flavor of the meat okay you got it now the meat is going in and the next ingredient that we’re adding traditional in grease is what like is onion onion you will grate one onion when we are making meatballs we’re just using raw onion because we want this flavor so the onion is ready and we will carry on with a garlic I know how lovely those meatballs will be at the very end and the garlic is in of course we using fresh garlic for this recipe and I need one egg inside some mint there is no way to make Greek meatballs and not use some mint now this is the secret of my grand mother some soda baking soda we’re using baking soda to make the meatballs more fluffy of course Salt and Pepper and don’t be stingy [Music] yes and we are in grease so of course in the mixer we have to add a little bit of extra virgin Greek olive oil 3 tablespoons should be enough and it’s time to start deep frying but first I have to mix everything together so my mixer is ready of course if you have time to let it sit on the side for about 15 20 minutes it would be better but if you don’t have time you just saap them you’re about to make 28 to 30 meatballs and straight away inside the flour we want to make a nice crust at the edges of the meatballs so we need to use some flour I think I’m good with five six meatballs because we don’t want to overcrowd the pan we want to cook them at batches because we want to cook through the meatballs the temperature of the oil is 180° so we need about 3 to four minutes of cooking for this size of Meatballs now when you dust them with flour make sure that you will saap them again because we don’t want excess flour to get into our oil and destroy our oil now the first one is in the second one is in and when we have a good caramelization and the meatballs cook through inside then we will take them out and carry on with the rest of the mixture I will also cook my fries because in general when we’re doing this recipe in grease we always serving with with some french fries lovely and the smell the smell of this meatballs it’s absolutely stunning and it’s one of the most characteristic smells you have at the neighborhoods of gree now in 10 15 minutes I will be back to serve the meatballs with the fries look at this oh my God lovely crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside this meatballs will be Heavenly amazing and the meatballs are ready also my French fries are ready and it’s time to serve first I will start with my French fries lovely a little bit of salt and always in grease when we’re serving french fries we do that with a little bit of dry oregano we love that and on the top of that all la la those are enough lies what do you think you want some more they are [Music] enough in this small bites of Heaven it’s absolutely stunning as you can see it is steaming but you cannot stop eating I can literally eat 20 of them [Music] and even with 20 I think I need some more oh my God lovely can you resist on that me too please guys subscribe to my channel make comments underneath the video and share this lovely recipe with your friends please try to make this recipe and send me some photos those are the best meatballs in the planet [Music] n [Music]

  5. I don't understand wearing gloves for hygiene if you touch everything in the kitchen first with the gloves then into the meat. Surely it is better without gloves and then just wash your hands before you shove it in the meat?

  9. I am making meatball subs tonight for my hubby and son to take to the rugby league. I actually use mint on a regular basis in my meatball recipe and am cooking them in a red sauce. Proud Greek!!!

  10. I think the mint goes much better with ground pork than with ground beef actually. If I make keftedes with ground beef I’ll use dill and parsley and if I use pork I’ll use mint. It’s prob just personal preference though. BUT fries are just not as good in the US. I really think they can not be replicated here!! 🤷🏻‍♀️💙🇬🇷
