protip: don’t store your onions and potatoes in the same spot – the onions produce ethylene gas which causes the potatoes to ripen and then spoil faster
I’m assuming your little storage pods do some good in that regard, but still
on the other hand, if you have some overly green bananas that you want to sweeten up in a couple of days rather than a week, that’s the perfect spot for them!

I informed my husband over dinner tonight that we were about to have a catastrophe because I only have 1/2 a small onion in the house and I can’t make it to the store tomorrow. I was hoping to go tonight, but then he was called into work and that screwed everything up. I don’t know what to do about tomorrow.
Is it bad if I order 10 lbs of onions through instacart? Only onions? It kinda an emergency
