Recipe: (based mine from with my own variations)

Pasta with Feta, Broccoli, and Sausage

INGREDIENTS
1 pound dried penne pasta
1 small head broccoli, cut into small florets
Olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 ounces smoked sausage, such as kielbasa or andouille, sliced into rounds
4 ounces feta cheese, chopped or crumbled
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook according to package directions. Meanwhile, place about 1/2 cup water in a large frying pan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cover. Steam for about 6 minutes, or until barely tender. Drain the broccoli.
Drain the pasta and set aside.
Heat a little olive oil over medium heat in the same frying pan until shimmering. Add the garlic until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add the sausage and cook, stirring frequently, until heated through.
Turn up the heat to medium-high and add the broccoli, pasta, and feta. Cook, stirring frequently, until everything is hot and the edges of the pasta are starting to crisp up, working in batches if needed. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.

hi everybody Welcome to my humble Homestead my Misfits order came so I’m going to show you what I got I had got some things because I needed some fresh produce number one and number two I wanted to make something with all that feta cheese I had left over so let me show you but if y’all see my last video you’re going to kind of laugh at something that I ordered in here I am like shaking my head now mind you when I put this order in things hadn’t popped up in my yard yet so here we go so I was like thinking I wanted green and spring but I’m going to use some of the stuff for recipes to use up some of the feta cheese so with that I got some fresh lamb sausage some bisen burger I have some Mahi m now with Misfits things might be just misshaped a little bit or things like that I just want to put the mahi mahi on a plate so I can put it in my fridge I got some KET bread because I to make some petah chips cuz I want to make a dip with some of my Keta I did get some pesto because I do have one thing of pesto that I took out of the freezer that I had made but I want to make sure I had enough I got several things of yogurt because I have not been getting Dairy waiting for my friends goats to start producing so I can get some of her goat milk and start making my own but I just wanted to make sure I had enough yogurt to make the things that I’m going to make and I got some camata olives and a cantaloupe some pears some lemons avocados some sugar snap peas some butter lettuce some tomatoes for salad and I got two bags of Apple this these are called Rocket apples they’re small but they were on sale and they’re supposed to be delicious so this is perfect for me for a snack I got this is I needed pickles for something thing and I didn’t know if I had pickles so this is the only thing I could find I need some pasta for a pasta thing for my feta and these are some potatoes and here it is ready you ready what I got you guys Dandy line greens dandelion greens yes ma’am they were on sale so I mean yes these are beautiful I must say these are beautiful they’re not the danelon greens that I picked out of my yard but I mean I just made a whole video and I made a whole lovely bowl of Dand Lang green salad you know what I’ll add these to something else I think I have’t got these for a recipe but hilarious anyway all right this is my Misfits haul short and sweet hi friends welcome to my humble Homestead and gardenside chat my name is Trina and I like to make simple meals make them from scratch the best I can or use good sourced [Music] ingredients so today I’m trying to use up this feta cheese that I had gotten at Sam’s Club and I got this lamb sausage off my mitf order as well as this pasta so I am just going to grab some broccoli out of my freezer and throw together a really quick meal I’m still feeling a little bit rundown a little gutted after all the garden work I did and I don’t want to do too much but I want to eat something that’s healthy and then I’ll have some leftovers so let’s just put this together right now I got some water boiling to make the pasta in I’m going to cut this sausage up and I’m just going to throw this together and I will show you everybody so in this pot I am just boiling up the pasta over here I got some olive oil going with some garlic just got that heating and I am just going to toss in my sausage here I do this onehanded because I don’t have my camera set up and while my pasta Cooks I’m just going to cook my sausage up here [Music] in in this garlic and oil so I’m going to let this sausage here get done and then I will show you what I do I’m going to steam the broccoli and I’m just going to to put it all together so it’ll be delicious all right so just a super quick easy [Music] meal that we’re going to put together here all right so we’re just going to let this cook for about oh 10 15 minutes till the lamb gets all cooked inside and I will show you how it looks you can use any kind of sausage you want um I had just got this this lamb was on sale at on Misfit so I got it it looked delicious but a nice smoke sausage would be good with it and uh yeah so we’ll uh show you what it looks like after a bit look at this one down here at that one she smells the lamb she’s not going to get any though maybe we’ll find her some lamb cat food I don’t know if I have any but we’ll see all right we’ll see in a bit everybody all right everybody welcome back so here I have my pasta drained I have these tomatoes that I need to use up so I’m going to throw those Ino this is going to kind of just be whatever we have to use so to do that let me get something to hang on to this pan with and I’m going to throw in my sausage with the olive oil and the garlic [Music] all right I’m going to add some pepper little bit of salt and I went out to the garlic and I Ian out to the garden and I picked picked some fresh basil so I’m just going to put a little bit of this in I was going to go get some or agano but honestly I didn’t feel like walking over to the herb garden so we’re going to go with this and the the recipe that I found I can put it in the description below it didn’t call for any of these fresh herbs it didn’t call for the tomatoes and I’m going to add some camada olives at the end it didn’t add for that call for that either but I’m going to the better yum yum so I going to shut this off here oh the broccoli oh my goodness we can’t forget the broccoli there you go oh good grief that’s hilarious okay this is a broccoli and you could make your broccoli smaller this is me I’m not I’m doing kind of lazy cooking but look at that everybody this might put a little bit more olive oil in it just a little bit there we go and I am going to put some Camala camada olives in here going to make this as Greek as I can here but if you don’t like olives you leave them out if you don’t like tomatoes you leave them out so this this is just for me and here we go with this fresh pasta dinner all right everybody this is what I have here and I will show you some other things that I make as well so I had somebody ask me how I’m going to cook this mahi mahi that I got at Misfits it’s wild cot I actually wasn’t planning on filming this but I will since I got a request for it so I literally just put in a baking dish some I know I I have somewhere on my channel a a seared mahi mahi recipe that’s delicious but this one I literally just put it in a baking dish I have some butter and I put the fish on top of a sliced lemon and then I just put some um some pepper put some fresh garlic some parsley I think that is it yeah right on top there and so I’m just going to bake this here for between 5 and 10 minutes I’m going to use a thermometer it comes to 165 kind of flakes apart that is all I’m going to do I’ll show you when it’s done here’s my fresh my finished mahi mahi I did make a baked potato put a little bit of feta on I have all that feta to use and my dandelion greens that we made together in the dandelion videos and the mahi mahi I just baked it ended up taking uh I had I had about four five pieces so it did end up taking about 12 minutes at 400 but there it is I am going
