What is the best result for a better yield? I’ve done it to other plants and seen the benefits it brings. But would it be the same for peppers?

Don’t know why everyone wants to top their pepper plants, unless you are a professional grower for income, leave them be, it slows down the growing process, sure it maybe give you a little more peppers, but is the wait worth it?

I wouldn’t top them. Seen a couple YouTubers test this theory and depending how long your growing season is it can actually reduce your yield.

If topping does increase yields (questionable), it is only possible if you have a long growing season. Otherwise it will decrease yields. Basically, if you live in hardiness zone 8 or above, go ahead and chop away ’til your heart’s content.

99.97% of all the youtube channels and blogs that push pepper plant topping never tell you when it’s not appropriate to do so because they don’t know anything about it and are just pushing content out to make ad revenue commissions and merch sales.

It will make bushy but you loose time like weeks  . What strains are they. ? I notice I’m getting good secondary growth and just now transplant from large  solo cup.  Especially the Jigsaw plant is thick . I’m wondering how much is due to feeding levels and light amount / type.
