Title says it all. I'm in live with the table, lovely teak, very well priced, marketed to fit XL BGE and similar sized kamado style grills.
I didn't think far enough about it. It comes with a 22 inch circular hole, but there's no way that I can think of think of to get the grill to fit unless the hinge is completely above the table surface, which puts the controls directly inside the table and unaccessible for use.
Any ideas on how to make this work?

Beautiful table. I *think* I understand the problem. Questions:
Could you move the “shelf” level to a different height? Is it bolted in place and would just need some new holes drilled or is it glued together?
Could you notch the hole to accommodate the hinge mechanism?
Could you set the grill on a small concrete patio stone to raise it up 5cm or so? Would that be enough?
Can you set the Joe on something to raise it up?
Measure and cut out a hole in the back of the opening to accommodate the hinge.
