Hi all. Been on keto several months now and very happy with the results. But I'm really missing some items like pizza. I was researching cauliflower crust but I'm shocked how carb dense it is. Like Caulipower pizza crust. 28g of carbs for 1/3 crust. What is 1/3 crust? Is that 1/3 of the pizza?
Anyone with any experience eating these pizzas? I don't want to knock my ketosis off for a slice of pizza. Lol. Cheers

While I want to give the standard preamble, I feel it’s moot. 27 net carbs in a serving will most likely knock you out of ketosis.
Here’s a pizza crust recipe that I found, tried and shared a few months back. I really like it and it’s all cheese and eggs. I make one every couple of weeks with no negative impacts.

Plenty of good options. I made a pizza crust with egg and cheese without a problem. Lots of recipes for fathead pizza dough out there. I’ve made King Arthur’s keto pizza crust and it was pretty good. I bought a premade crust from the Great Low Carb Bread Co that wasn’t bad.
But yeah cauliflower pizza crust ain’t for us.
Fathead pizza dough is a good option as well. I tried several crust recipes and that was my fave.
Where are you located? There’s a place called Mamas Pizza that has a cauliflower crust that’s a little less carbs and DELICIOUS. I eat 1/3 or 1/2 of the pizza and I’m stuffed. Tons of veggies and really amazing. I hope there’s one near you.
Chicken/Egg/Parmesan is the king of keto pizza crusts for flavor. Waaaayyy to easy to eat 1000 calories of pizza in a sitting.
I would recommend the Cali Flour Cauliflower Pizza Crust brand but I stopped buying it bc theyre crust are always brown/grayish like it was exposed to heat and air. Maybe try making the crust yourself out of cauliflower or chicken? I also heard of fathead dough.
A lot of frozen cauliflower crusts are catered to the gluten-free crowd and are not necessarily low car.b.
I for one am loving the cottage cheese “flatbread”.
