Haagen Dazs mango sorbet

This ice cream tastes like those smaller ripe yellow mangos. It’s like if you freshly freeze them blended it. That’s the initial taste. The after taste is very sweet and too sugary for me. The taste of artificial sweetness increases after the ice cream melts and it’s unnecessary. I was hoping to like this ice cream just as much as the Haagen Dazs raspberry sorbet but due to how sweet it is during the after taste phase I don’t think I will be repurchasing. With that said I do prefer tart sorbet. If only the initial taste stayed the same throughout I would like it better. I had to drink water after I stopped eating the ice cream to wash away the sweetness. I would rate this ice cream 8.5/10. It’s a good tasting mango and I would still recommend it try. The raspberry sorbet is a 10/10 for sure.
