I planted seeds from a small sweet bell pepper I got at the grocery store because I loved them so much and am surprised by how many have survived this far. I know they're cramped right now but I'm not sure how to proceed. The only bigger pots I have are in the second image. I'm open to suggestions if they're not optimal.

I plan to put them on my deck as it's the only place with real sunshine, but I worry because I don't want bugs to eat my precious peppers! How many plants should I fit in each large pot? What specific soil should I use? Lowes is my local store. Also my deck is always covered in spiders, will they harm my plants or help get rid of the pests?

Biggest plant in biggest pots and replace them with smaller ones that are needing to be repotted.. Put hand over top with stem Inbetween fingers, turn upside down tap pot off to see roots,  transplant the ones with most roots .  Potting soil not garden soil . And you need a tomato fertilizer as it has calcium in it. Spiders are great they may eat any pest going for plants

  2. It depends on the size of a plant you want. I only need for myself. I wish I could have kept my in smaller pots.
Spiders help. You also really want pollinators to come by or you may have to manually pollenate.
