This is a really simple and easy baked potato wedges recipe that you’ll love. It’s just a matter of prepping your ingredients and adding the the right flavourings, it will surprise you at how easy these are to do, you will love them!
Ingredients-
➤ Baking Potatoes, one large one per person
➤ Olive oil
➤ Seasoning
➤ A pinch of smoked paprika
Recipe-
Wash your potatoes then chop in half and using the bottom middle as a pivot point chop into segments, like an orange. Cut in half then place on a roasting tray, season, then add oil and the paprika. Place in a 200°C ocven and roast for around 40 minutes turning throughout.

[Music] you know when potato is really nice and crispy on the outside it’s got that lovely texture and it’s got that crunch which makes it really tasty chips or fries are great i know but baking potato wedges is a really good option too that’s what i’m up to today so my wedges can go into a nice hot oven i preheat mine to 200 degrees these are some pretty hefty baking potatoes but with the right preparation they can be transformed into the perfect potato wedges time for my potato cutting master class okay first things first and cut in half and then place your half potato face down on the cutting board cut in the middle and using the bottom center as a pivot point cut into wedges angle your knife with each cut and cut into segments i like the shape of an orange when you have larger potatoes like i have you can cut in half again so they can easily be picked up and devoured end of my potato cutting master class once i’m happy they’re all the right shape and size they can be transferred to a large roasting tray the tray needs to be large enough to take one single layer of potatoes if they start to double up if you find they won’t crisp up so well so if you’re doing a larger quantity of potatoes you’ll need more trays the other two things you’ll need to add is a bit of salt and some neutral oil the salt will help draw out the moisture and the oil will help crisp the potatoes up and my secret ingredient is a pinch of smoked paprika this will add a good bit of color to my otherwise pale spuds and of course a touch of smokiness give these a good mix around and now place in your oven i find cooking the perfect potato wedge shouldn’t be rushed it’s a matter of being patient and throughout the cooking process i pull these out from time to time and gently flip them over this will allow color to form on both sides and get really crispy [Music] once they are done drain on some kitchen towel and season with some flaky sea salt [Music] so there you have really good potato wedges i think it’s important to cook them for a good amount of time so the potato cooks through and you have that crispy texture on the outside bit of ketchup or a dip of your choice yes that is spot on really nice potato wedge cooked through very well and also that crispiness which is really important thank you for watching my video don’t forget to like the video if you enjoy my content and hit subscribe if you haven’t done so already i will catch you next time [Music]
