In less than 2 months after I’ve put the rock wool cube into this (smallest available) Lechuza pot and PON medium.

I did it too research the differences in root growth and thickness in POn, compared to pure hydro, rock wool or soil — as I’m interested in cultivating some bonchis.

Fed heavily with GHE Flora and kept in a grow tent with 80% RH with a “drought” day or two every week, next to more mature and larger plants.

What’s quite surprising to me is, that the pods produced by this little fella are approx. 25% larger than those of my larger plants from the same tent, including the mother plant. Limiting space available for roots to grow may certainly be beneficial, in some ways at least. This was suggested to me by one of redditors from this sub and I’m certainly happy I did this little experiment — thank you again for that tip.

Also sharing an amateur macro shot of one of the flowers produced by the mother plant, in appreciation of its subtle beauty. Have a good day, pepper people.
