I love Taylor Farms salad kits for their convenience, but the dressings can sometimes be way too high! I used their website to calculate the kits’ calories with all the toppings but no dressing. I also listed the dressing alternative I use, but obviously use whatever you’d like! I’m clearly obsessed with Bolthouse ranch lol. Hope this helps anyone who likes the salad kits but doesn’t want to do the math every time! 🙂

I love that they do this! I use to eat HEB Salad Kits all the time, thinking the numbers on the package included the dressing and toppings. 🙁
You’re amazing for putting this together in one post!
For the Green Goddess salad, I only use 1/3-1/2 the dressing packet, and mix with half a lemon’s worth of juice and it tastes pretty excellent.
I don’t think I noticed how high these dressings are on their own omg. I usually just split these in half and would add protein but I need to do alt dressing!!!
What do you figure the sweet kale salad calories would be without the dressing OR the toppings?
Wow thanks. I have this same issue especially with tracking them!
I absolutely love the sweet kale, steakhouse, and mediterranean ones!! So so delicious.
I love putting the southwest kit in a wrap with some of the vegetarian buffalo wings. I’m not even vegetarian, they’re just that good.
I love these kits too! My husband split a salad and a thin crust pizza for dinner every Sunday night lol it’s my favorite food tradition. Some of these being so high calorie has definitely got them not picked up so I might try the dressing alternatives!
Fresh express pear Gorgonzola kit is 250 cal for the whole package (it’s 1 serving). It’s a good filling size.
The other kits are quite a bit more but if you need a quick, contained meal, that’s an option. Add a lean protein.
