Smoked at ~250f no wrap, no water pan and no spritz, probed at 3.5 hours and temp was at 205f pulled them off the smoker and wrap for 45 mins, wife and kids loved them. A lot of people said there’s no point in even smoking pre-cuts. These turned out amazing first time I’ve smoked any sort of beef ribs.

I get pre cut from my local Costco (Australia) all the time and they’re awesome. Thick, juicy, on the bone. They don’t tend to cook any different than joined, albeit a bit quicker.

I like the precuts, more surface area for bark. Just gotta be careful with the salt.

    Hell yeah!! Those look amazing!

If they only took 3.5h, could do them at 225 next time to slow it down, maybe render the fat a little more, but good lord, those look appetizing!

Is there a big difference between smoking pre-cut and not? I do pork ribs a lot but only did beef ribs once a few years ago and honestly don’t remember.
