We had our air fryer 6 months before it occurred to me, so sharing here. The dehydrate setting works brilliantly for a quick reverse sear.

Pictured: rib steaks held at 127 with convection for 3hrs, then seared off on grill, rare for me, med for hubby. Because the steaks are dry, works equally well for cast-iron sear-off.

  2. Is this the breville smart oven? Can you dial it to the degree? What is the lowest it goes?

  3. Neat, and this can do 137, i just checked with my parents version.

    In theory, you could broil this right after for a sear
