Sorry for the unsightly photo (hence the NSFW). Y’all this reaper option from Dave’s Hot Chicken is no joke lol. I have an admirable heat tolerance and use to indulge in heat pain a lot more than I do now. My standard sauce is Marie Sharps habanero, I use to regularly consume Blazin from BWW (before they changed the recipe), buldak double spicy makes my nose run and my tummy hurt…. Just so you can gauge my spice tolerance lol. But this. This “reaper”. Gaaaaawd dam. Second bite I immediately had tears running down my face. Honestly I’m not going to finish it right now, it’s so fucking spicy. It’s definitely more of an experience to be had than a meal to consume. I mean I literally disassociated. THE RESTURAUNT MAKES YOU SIGN A WAVER 🤣🤣🤣 I thought she was joking when she asked if I’d sign for it 😭. It’s not impossible to eat , but I ask you, brethren of the season, SISTERS OF THE SPICE, is this a meal or a device of masochistic l pleasure? Thank you, that is all.

Man I gotta try this, I heard the spiciness varies on location
I had one a few weeks back, and it was AWESOME. I got immediate hiccups and drank about half a gallon of orange Fanta. Lips buzzed for about 40 minutes. I swear i could feel it moving through my system like a hot ball of.. well, chicken. No crazy ‘other end’ stuff buy i won’t take another one unless I have a complete clear afternoon.
Wasn’t a fan of the fact that it was a dry rub. The location I got it at must have been one of the hotter ones and they laid it on strong. Should have been a cue when the entire kitchen was watching my first couple bites. Ate the whole thing in one sitting, kept it down for an hour and then had the most excruciating stomach pains and well, got to taste it a second time. Not my finest spicy experience
Yeah Dave’s reaper is insane. So nice to find a real spicy chicken sandwich when I tried it first time a few months ago. All day pain tho lol. Also I so miss bww og blazin. Wish there was a way to get it
One just opened not too far from me. I’m waiting for the chaos to settle a bit before I go. The gf will be out of town coming up soon., so you can bet I’ll be giving the reaper chicken a try without having her tell me how bad of an idea it is. 🤣
