I played myself and got the nondairy version cause I was in a rush. I didn’t even know there was a nondairy version 🥴. This was my first time trying oatmilk ice cream and I will not be purchasing nondairy ice cream aside from sorbet in the future. The density surprised me because it was not icy and it was pretty dense and comparable to dairy ice cream. It tasted like oreo ice cream with the mix ins more than just a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie bits gets soft and stick to your teeth like regular Oreo cookies. Density, mix ins, cookie parts tasted good.
The part I don’t like about this ice cream is the taste of the ice cream. Does oat milk ice cream taste diet to anyone? The sweetness level was unpleasant in that it was very sweet upon first bite and then it quickly disappears like a diet soda. If the sweetness stayed constant while I’m eating and then it slowly drops off like dairy ice cream it would micmic it much better. I rate this 5/10 and will not be repurchasing.
