As stated, huge ally. Looks to be a Green Anole. These guys will keep the pests down. Pretty cool thing they do is they can change to different shades of brown when hiding.

Anoles will eat all bugs, so generally good. Though they will also eat mantids and spiders and such which are also helpful. Not sure about pollinators.
Unrelated. Anoles will eat cockroaches, at least the ones we see around here. So just for that, friend.

As long as its not an iguana, lizards are tour best friend in the garden, their diet consists of everything g you don’t want eating your plants, iguanas just eat your plants.

Once when I was a little kid, I found one in our garden and was terrified. I started running as fast as I could, which wasn’t very fast. The little green gremlin ran after me the entire length of the garden!! He ran like 20 metres after me!! I arrived at the kitchen door, opened it, hopped inside then closed it before finally taking a breath.
Inside, mom was doing the dishes. the little monster stood there in front of the glass door, looking at me through the glass. I told mom ”a monster ran after me“ and she didnt believe me, she didnt even look. I told her he is right here at the door. She didnt look. I looked at him then found him cute and changed my mind, then told her “I think he is my friend” and NOW she looked (parent sixth sense, she knew I was about to open the door and let him in)
She shouted at me to get inside then called dad over. I never saw him again. I miss dad.
