So I was having trouble with the milk steaming being underpowered even after purging and setting the steam temp all the way up.
I went and bought a single hole .850 steam tip from Chris’ coffee…I believe it’s the only one they carry. It is a game changer! it actually allows you to get a good swirl.
I steamed just like I normally do and it took a few seconds longer no big deal. I poured like I normally do and got really great latte art even though I had been struggling lately.
Point is, get a single hole tip if you want to improve the steaming of the profitec go

I have Profitec Go and I haven’t had any issues with my steam wand. I get good pressure and the results are good. Might have been your machine but sounds like you found a solution so that’s good!

I have stock dual tip, follow two purge instructions and it works perfectly
Why change?
I agree that a single hole tip is easier to use. The steam from the dual-hole tip on the Go are more horizontal than vertical, so I found that I had to aim one of the holes in a line tangential to the wall of the pitcher, and almost horizontal to get the best swirl. The other hole aims mostly down toward the bottom of the pitcher in this orientation.
The 2 holes on the ECM Synchronica point more in line with the wand than down, which I found easier to use, but more difficult than the 1-hole Silvia wand.
How did you not put the link lol
Here is the link that someone asked for
