Currently low on groceries/money and want to use up a lot of the stuff I have on hand in the pantry and freezer without having to buy too much extra.

You can blend them all and make the most vile shake ever created, rich in protein tho

Focusing on the produce going bad:

Pork belly tacos – pork belly (grilled), taco shells, pickled onions & jalapeños. Use spices to season pork. Can create an avocado sauce if you have heavy cream.

Steak salad – romaine, ribeye, carrots avocado, celery & cucumbers. Cook steak to your preference (if doing pork belly tacos can grill), chop up romaine & veggies and use ranch/blue cheese dressing.

If you have any frozen dough, like puff pastry you can slice up the apples add a bit of sugar and cinnamon and bake for an easy sweet treat

Not so focused on getting rid of produce:

Spaghetti/goulash – canned tomato, pasta & frozen meatballs.

Tuna noodle salad – canned tuna, pasta, frozen veggies (thrown into pasta water at the end and brought to a boil for about 30), drained and add mayo, mustard& various spices to your taste. Onion and celery are best of the are crunchy

Celery, carrots, onion, chicken thighs, pasta….sounds like you got some chicken soup on deck.

  4. Sad-Ticket1937

Guessing you could make a mean apple crisp by adding cinnamon and sugar to apples and add some melted butter to the granola to use as the crisp! 350 or so for a while til it smells good.

Avacado boats… mash avacado, stir in a can of tuna, diced pickles, pepper, and a little mayo. Put back in avacado shell and sprinkle cheese on top. 385 til bubbly cheese a d heated through! Can do half on a piece of bread or bun for a melt.

Could I recommend using ChatGPT? It could help you account for cuisine preferences and allergens. Only note that you might have to add what pantry staples you have other than these ingredients – I do think ChatGPT takes the ingredient list you give it quite literally. Could be worth a shot!

I would focus on go8ngbto go bad stuff starting with meat chz most expensive, (I am not a chef at freestyle) meetabls and crush them into a mince and use like 1/10 of those hot pepper things, and then we’ll fry it and have it with a taco or on bread,
With cumbers.onion and pork aka a barbecue,.

  8. card_crusader

It wi be hard to use just that so u should buy rice(the big packs to save money) and some sushi seaweed sheets (sushi sheets less important) either rice u can make so much but with sushi sheets and rice u can use avocado and nearly any meat for those or onigiri with a filling , so u should buy rice and rice cooker it’s a good investment

  9. Hopeful_Remote468

Damn I need to be better with food waste. Impressive that you’re taking the time to do this

Fish tacos, Pasta and meatballs, Mac and cheese with cut up steak or pork, tuna salad .

I would prioritize what is going to go bad first, if the fish is not frozen or thawed out eat that first. (fish tacos sound really good with avocado and onion)

if you want to use the lettuce you can make a side salad to eat with a couple meals or a big salad with steak on it!

I would save the pasta for last because that and the pasta sauce will stay good for a long time and you can really add any meat to it!

Pork belly makes for a mean homemade ramen.

If you still need more suggestions, this is a great question for chat gpt- it’s pretty good at this kind of thing.

You can make chicken tacos! They won’t be authentic or anything, but they’ll be good with the ingredients you have!

Cook the chicken with some taco seasoning (you don’t need a packet, you can just look up a recipe online and use the spices you already have in the cabinet) and then shred it with a fork.

Mix the avocado, white onion, crushed tomato, and jalapeño to make some guacamole. Extra points if you can find lime juice or fresh cilantro, but it’s not needed.

Cook and smash the pinto beans.

Put it all in a taco or three (or however much you want)!

Also, you could cut up your lettuce to put on there as well. When using lettuce, most people put iceberg, but if you aren’t picky, romaine should also be fine!

Edit: You could also sub the chicken for other sources of protein like fish or pork. I would also look into making Mexican dishes or any stews/soups because a lot of the ingredients you have could work for those!
