Letting them ripen up on the counter for the next day or two before I dry them up for grounds. Made an amazing chili with some cayenne the other day. Scrumptious.
Also allowing the plants to start reproducing new fruit by pulling all of these down. Just the start of the season, I'm ecstatic. So pumped. Should have 4-5 more months of prosperity.

The cayenne’s look very skinny. It resembles some peppers and seeds I acquired in Thailand.
Beautiful batch of peppers!!!
I’m so jealous! I have some jalapeΓ±os that are close and about 6 cayenne just getting going
Those are beautiful.
Wow, those look great!
Awesome harvest!!! This right here though is a great example of how hardiness zones are a poor comparison as they just rate hardiness. We may have the same frost points, etc., but as a fellow 9Bβer, Iβm just struggling to keep my plants hydrated through the summer so maybe I can get some blooms in August or September. Not to mention, I could only dream of that kind of lush vegetation in the background green grass, etc.
Badass pull dude!! I always eat one pepper with dinner but end up trying to give the rest away because I don’t know what to do with them. Any advice on your process and what you can do with the powder after? How hot is it compared to the raw fruits? I have a dehydrator and grinder just collecting dust from an old hobby lol
