Tomato is a Bush Early Girl, living up to her name been harvesting it since early June.

Also growing 24 prepper varieties consisting of 28 plants, Big Beef and the Bush Early Girl tomato, as well as three Cherry type tomato plants Super Sweet 100, Yellow Pear cherry tomato, and Juliet Roma/Grape hybrid.

Herb and berry garden consists of strawberries, blueberries, sage, dill, lemon thyme, cilantro, garlic, romaine lettuce, and nasturtiums and yellow fire African marigolds.

Not a whole lot of problems yet, at least this far along into the season, nothing but a few minor bug chewed holes in leaves, and the birds coming to eat my companion plants once in awhile. Just starting to see my first peppers ripening as well. Need to pick up some soil so I can do the last of the transplanting from the small pots but we're pretty much in maintenance mode at this point.

Hoping the rest of the season goes as smoothly as it has so far.

That first solo year is always such an eye opener. Turns out tending for 20 plants isn’t 10x harder than caring for two.

It looks like you really did your homework over the winter. Now you are a convert for life and you’ll be the one dispensing wisdom.
