Under "You do you", recipe says to adjust gremolata's flavor to your liking by adding more or less lemon and garlic . Problem!!!! If you look at the ingredients… the recipe doesn't call for OR include garlic (neither garlic clove or powder was sent.. not listed under the ingredients section). Soo.. did HF decide to just garlic out of the recipe to save money and forget to edit the card?

In short: yes!
They continuously “downgrade” recipes to adjust for inflation by cutting ingredients and pulling those “you could add X on your own” tricks. My favorite is dishes with eggs like cobb salad or ramen where they used to include the eggs (and still show them on the photos) but now just say to add your own.
Gremolata without garlic is an actual crime
I did wonder about that. Like, wait, i didn’t see garlic in the ingredient list, guess they mean for me to add my own
