hey y’all and welcome to the sprinkle factory YouTube channel where we cover everything culinary this is show sprinkle here and I’m back with another delicious recipe make sure you guys hit that subscribe button and join our sprinkle squad today we are gonna be making pineapple upside-down cheesecake and let’s get right into it as always y’all I’m gonna put the ingredients down in the description below but I am going to walk you through the process so first we’re making the sauce for the pineapple upside-down cake so it’s going to be a stick of butter in one cup of light brown sugar when you measure brown sugar make sure you pack it down into your measuring cup so you get the correct measurements so we’re just gonna mix that up you guys super super simple not too much to this step at all so the next thing that we’re going to do is get your favorite cake pan you guys this kingpin is literally over ten years always my absolute favorite but I am using metal cake pan versus a dark coated or a glass cake pan I just find that it does conduct the heat better for this recipe so what I have here is some pineapple slices y’all super simple they came right out the can no big deal so we’re gonna arrange this in here and then we’re gonna put in our maraschino cherries and just make a really pretty pattern do it however you want to do it is no wrong way to this put on your artists hat for this arrangement you guys and I’ll be right back [Music] [Music] just like that y’all super simple now I’m gonna put some extra cherries that’s totally up to you just depends on how much you like them however the next step that we’re gonna talk about is going to be the actual cake batter I’m gonna put the link in the description to the recipe I’ve already made my yellow cake batter on this channel so I’ll go ahead and put that link in the description for you and I’ll add a card right here at the top but what I did add in addition is a box of cheesecake instant pudding which is really awesome and tastes really great especially for the occasion so we’re just gonna fill the pan up and we’re gonna fill it up two-thirds of the way and then we’re gonna get a bacon [Music] now this cake actually takes longer than most because it does have that sugar sauce at the bottom just put a toothpick in the cake if it comes out clean you are good to go the next thing that we’re gonna do is we are going to work on our graham cracker crumb crust super super super simple y’all like everything I do so he has the butter in there and we also have the brown sugar we are just going to mix it around until all of your graham cracker crumbs get nice and moist and it should look something like this and the trick to knowing if the crust is perfect for your cheesecake grab a little bit squeeze it together if it stays together you are ready to go the next thing I’m gonna add is some brown sugar that’s just gonna tie the flavors and from the pineapple upside-down cake in the cheesecake and also add a pinch of salt of course you can’t make a dessert without salt might sound weird but it is totally a flavor enhancer desert can be bland – yeah okay so yeah we’re gonna mix this up once we do that we are going to get our springform pan it’s very important when you are doing a cheesecake to use a springform pan so this way it’s easy for you to get it out so we’re just gonna dump the crumbs in there and we are going to take it and press it down so pack it really really tight as tight as you can and there we’re gonna bake our crumbs at 350 for 5 minutes take it out and we’re going to add the cheesecake super-easy all as you can see here I’m wrapping the springform pan with some foil this is going to allow us to make a water bath and I’ll show you what I mean in a few the cheesecake recipe y’all we are using my most simple bare minimum cheesecake recipe we have so much going on with this entire dessert so you don’t want to make the cheesecake overpowering or too too too rich okay it’s gonna be rich but not too too rich so we started with four bars of cream cheese eight ounces apiece and we’re going to add in a cup of sugar of course we want to make it sweet and we’re gonna blend it up until it gets nice and smooth again super simple and I use my hand mixer this time you guys because I just want y’all to know that you can make these without having a kitchen stand KitchenAid stand mixer okay you can just pull out the old-fashioned mixer and get to work okay well next thing then we’re going to do is are gonna add our eggs it is best if you add them one at a time it just makes it easier to be able to incorporate with the cream cheese and then we’re gonna add in some vanilla a pinch of salt and we are going to put our cheesecake in the pan [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] of course super easy as always so now let’s get into this water bath so the water bath is gonna surround the Cheesecake pan so that it’s not gonna burn and it’s also gonna cook it evenly so put your cheesecake actual pan inside of a larger pan pour some hot water only about halfway up the Cheesecake walls so this way you’ll get a nice even bake and a beautiful creamy and delicious cheesecake now when the pineapple upside-down cake comes out let it cool maybe let it cool about 10 minutes and then we are going to go ahead and flip it out keep your fingers crossed you guys it’s always a mystery with this if it’s gonna come out in shape or you know seeing your design all that good stuff but of course I have to do it for y’all in slow motion slow it down with a slow mo [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] luckily our cake came out perfect and we’re gonna move to the Cheesecake now it should be a little wobbly you guys but still firm and really quick just to show y’all make sure it’s very important that you use two of the same size pans okay but the next thing that we’re gonna do super simple we are going to cut our pineapple upside-down cake right in the center you guys it’s really simple for you just to keep your knife in one place and actually turn the plate or the cake stand or whatever you’re using around the knife so this way you get an even cut be very careful especially if your cake is still warm and use two spatulas to set it right on top and now at this point both of your cake and your cheesecake should still be warm so it’s gonna allow it to kind of stick to each other so it can come become one and that’s pretty much it y’all literally that’s pretty much it we want to make sure we push it down just a bit so that they can get acquainted and then this is your pineapple upside-down cheesecake [Music] it’s just so beautiful y’all but you do have to cut it you gotta serve it and of course I know you want to eat it so we’re gonna just take a line take a rather large knife y’all because it actually is a relatively thick cheesecake layer and we’re just going to slice it and we’re gonna plate it up and we are going to enjoy it just like that y’all y’all ever made something that was just super super gorgeous and you’re just so proud this is that but first before I let y’all go let’s slow it down with any slow just like that y’all this is a true crowd-pleaser trust me trust me trust me on this one I love you all so much for watching as my grandma would say of course this is finger-lickin time make sure you guys like comment subscribe share with all of your friends and family and as always I’ll see y’all next time

  3. 👋 I have a question. If I made this for sale, how can I remove the entire cheesecake cake from the metal tray to put it in another plate?

  4. Why add salt to salted butter when you are mixing the cheesecake batter or salted butter then add salt again to mix together the salted butter to the gram cracker crumbs I always use unsalted butter whenever I am making a cheesecake

  5. I’m late to the party but Baby I’m here I love this and I’m absolutely making it
